I'm still a Linux noob all things considered, and I've been using NixOS for six months or more.

It is HARD, but I see the true value of it. I will never need to reinstall Linux because I broke it, that's simply impossible.

If I ever need to migrate my system, it's all backed up to github. With a single

Bash update.sh

every single .config file backed up, system upgraded, all packages updated.

I just love Nix, it's the perfect OS for me.

Now I just need to learn how to use flakes...

Sidebar: I've never asked before, but maybe someone can help me out. If I install a flake of an application, am I supposed to add it to the existing flake, or can I modulate flakes?

I've noticed when installing the nixvim flake it generates a new flake and it runs when I issue the

nix run ~/.dotfiles/nixvim/flake.nix

command, but I don't want to have to run that command every time. I feel like making a fish abbreviation isn't the correct way of doing this.

Alright, I just dipped my balls in a bowl of cordial, so you don't have to.

My sack didn't detect any sweetness, but I'm sure if someone sucked on them, then they would.

Its funny, I came to the comments to write the same thing.

His smile is so fucking dead. It's all in the eyes.

If you want to convincingly deceive people, you first need to deceive yourself.

It doesn't matter how good your mouth muscles can stretch; if your eyes are lying, then you're fucked.

I'll go a step further.

I regularly use ~~comma's~~ commas where they don't belong, just to reflect my speech patterns IRL.

The really funny thing about this is OP is egregiously wrong.

Soy doesn't contain estrogen, it contains phytoestrogen, which not only doesn't produce any estrogen-like side-effect, but actively prevents our bodies from taking and producing estrogenic hormones.

This is all very ironic, considering drinking ~~excessive~~ cows milk ~~leeches calcium out of our bones and~~ exposes us to a smorgasbord of hormones not designed for humans.

Soy is shit tier anyway, oat milk all the way.

Y'all should all

I have a custom ROM (DivestOS); I don't have access to the Play Store.

The latest version of Honkai: Star Rail is out, but Aurora installs the bundled version of the APK which always throws an error "Not enough storage space to install required resources" (there is enough space).

In the past, I've used APK Mirror to download the standalone version of the APK. But the latest update on APK Mirror only offers the bundled version.

I've tried APK Pure and APK Combo to install an XAPK version, but that always fails too.

So, does anyone know where I might find the standalone version of the app, or how to resolve the bundled app error?

Thanks in advance.

I own a Samsung monitor, and when it's in standby mode the LED blinks all night. My hearing is so sensitive, and my room so quiet, that I can actually hear the LED powering on and off.

So, every night I power it off manually. Sometimes I forget as I turn my PC off, and as I'm laying comfortably in bed, falling asleep, I hear it cycling, so I have to get out of bed, walk over, and turn it off, which delays my sleep.

At this point I'm tempted to take off the bottom panel and break the LED with a screwdriver, but I'm worried that this might change how the current flows through the monitor's circuit board.

I would appreciate any advice, suggestions or insights, thanks in advance!
