OBS has the option to use vp9_qsv in Custom Output (FFmpeg) and it works great.

Since vp9_qsv is already available and functional via FFmpeg custom output, why isn't it exposed as a first-class encoder option in the Simple/Advanced output modes?

In fact, I remembered incorrectly, the Pixel phones that were seized were put in packages that prevented data from being deleted remotely.

Spanish police are allowed to hack phones to counter illegal activities

In the particular technological war between drug traffickers and the police, an important element has recently come into play: Trojans. With judicial authorization, the police infect traffickers' phones and thus gain access to most of the applications, images, and documents on a device

Will they lobby for laws that prohibit Linux or make it difficult to install? What actions might they take in the future?

ffmpeg has very customizable options to record/stream, it gives many options to control which encoder to use, which max/min bitrate to use, which audio codec use, so it's almost obs but in cli world

I know that OBS has pipewire window/screen capture but I want to use ffmpeg to capture as I can use x11grab on xorg

I think this reason is stupid. Why can't there be a duopoly in the browser market like in the phone market? Even if there is no firefox, there will still be safari on its own engine
