I feel like you were more likely to learn things at more than a surface level. You had to learn to operate and maintain more stuff than now. It's basically discouraged with all the disposable items these days. And because you didn't have the device of all entertainment at your hands you were more likely to go just do random stuff. Have random IRL experiences. More likely to get exercise just doing shit.

In this country it's more about either being at the right place at the right time or knowing the right people. Yet this country still pushes the meritocratic myth.

Not sure if it'd be your thing I like some Nascar Aloe stuff. His stuff is pretty out there. Loud, distorted and glitchy. He's the only more recent artist I can think of that is brutally outspoken on some of this stuff that I actually listen to.

Makes me think of Texas. Only 1/3 of my trip is getting to Texas. 2/3 is trying to get to where my family is at lol

I'm arguing with a local rep who passed a bill in my state for age verification. Only one that'd respond to me. Also signs bills to support Israel.

I'm pretty anti-car myself. I've never had a license. I've never had a job. My feet have taken me from town to town. Mix of using public transport as well. I've never let not having a vehicle let me not show up to work.

I make the same amount of money as my coworkers yet I save so much not having car insurance, car troubles, a tank to fill.

There's several reasons why I don't drive but the older I get the less I regret my choice in life.

Under 35 club here but pushing 30. Grew up in an odd period I feel like. I feel I grew up when everything was transitioning. I remember VHS as well as seeing smart phones become common.
