as much as i love nvim and understand people who love emacs, there are people who want that big gui thing. for those i’d recommend VSCodium if they feel like they really can’t live without VSCode or Gram for those who got to like Zed.

I know that your interpretation is most likely what they meant in this meme.

However, I‘m wondering. Is there HRT that you take orally that could be affected by grapefruit too?
In that case there could be a much more positive interpretation of them being told to just be themselves, and they started HRT to achieve exactly that.

ZMK does wireless and wired, with a focus on wireless, whilst QMK has its focus on wired and i’m not sure whether it does wireless.

I got two Aurora Sofle (shoutout to splitkb for having good products and customer service) one wired with qmk (and MX switches) and one wireless with zmk (and kailh switches). Both work very well, but i’ve found that I prefer kailh switches over MX.

QMK is also used by folks like Keychron for their wired keyboards, and for gui focussed ppl it’s configurable via the browser app „via“.

I‘m sure there’s a good way to do this on the OS side, but I‘m doing it in ZMK/ QMK.

Imma throw another option into the ring which is Caps lock -> Esc / Ctrl. it‘s esc when tapped and ctrl when combined/ held for longer. veeeery useful

my work client cancels the new mail without there being a draft, though that may be because of muscle memory pressing a key combo after esc. its major pain o7

I‘ve heard that graphene ships with the vanadium browser per default. how does that compare to Ironfox? i‘m somewhat surprised that graphene doesn’t go with what so many ppl recommend?

Now i‘m not sure about cats, but for dogs i’ve seen them cost a lot, even in the first year, and even if you don’t consider adoption. between taxes, health insurance, and equipment you gotta get, you can spend a lot of money very quickly. ofc you can also go with the cheapest options, but then sth stupid happens and your dog has a 4k trip to the vet in year two, and insurance won’t cover shit.

tldr: I’ve seen dogs get very expensive very quickly.

Agreed, i should also be trying zellij, but my tmux is so well configured (for my) and dracula-tmux has everything i’d want, so it’d be hard to leave that behind for a not otherwise specified benefit. speed i guess?

considering that she’s using debian, i feel like she’s also living the peaceful life of not always chasing the latest shiny new tool, if the one she’s got is working well.
