Mercy killing on the way! Never thought I'd hear you say! Falling to your knees and pray now!

This will be an interesting development to watch. I live in a Catholic MAGA city. Something tells me they'll side with Trump. The way they trashed the last woke Pope was funny AF. Watching these idiots twist and contort themselves into a Gordian Knot is never not entertaining.

I went out to a favorite nature preserve to see what new birds have migrated back. I didn't see anything new, but there were dozens of song sparrows and red-winged blackbirds singing away.

That's about the same time I finally wrote them off entirely. Completely unacceptable and they think because they're the only other major party that they can hold us hostage? They can kick rocks.

This is me now that birds are migrating back. I want to get up early for golden hour photos but it's always cloudy until the sun has been up for a few hours. One of these days I'll get lucky.

I'd love for them to attempt to pull me from my home for a draft, lol. I'll take at least one with me.

Beautiful insect, nice shot! What did you shoot it with?

And these morons wonder why their numbers are abysmal even in the face of the worst most fascist president and Congress of my lifetime. I'm done with the Democrat party, fucking scumbags.

Fantastic photo!

I've seen no less than 10 flickers over the past two weeks. They're very pretty woodpeckers. Here in the Eastern side of the US we have the yellow-shafted variety. Here's a collection of the ones I was able to photograph.

Finally a decent day in the 50°F range. A ton of birds are back and the insects are out. My first butterfly of the year is a beautiful Compton Tortoiseshell perfectly matching its environment. I'm so stoked for spring!

It seems nobody found this egg on Easter. It's a beautifully painted egg. Sadly it wasn't into being admired.

I feel like you're leaving some negatives off from the Kamala side. Namely that she's a corporatist liberal and was a prosecutor. IMO both of those are important details that shouldn't be left off. Trump is a once in a lifetime evil, but she's no saint either. The problem is we must cast away these billionaire serving candidates.

How are there still people surprised by this stuff? Until there are real consequences they'll keep doing what they want.

One of the most common birds near me, but that doesn't make them any less adorable.

I made a point to stick around the waterfowl for a while. These drakes didn't disappoint.

These ring-billed gulls were all about the waves.

I even found this cool hollowed out stump with a mini beach in it!

I love these kinds of finds. A little slice of landscape carved out by erosion and animals. This hollowed out stump is right on the rocky coast of a Great Lake.

On my walk to the grocery store I overheard this Song Sparrow singing its song. I stopped for some photos and it didn't pay me too much mind. I like how these turned out and they're tack sharp.
