Wait... You have to have a court tell the federal government to not destroy/alter/plant evidence?

How.. how is that a thing? Should'nt that just happen normally?

I wouldn't be surprised if they just started calling it Copilot at some point. I could see them renaming their "agents" after big feature updates, much like we do with hurricanes which would be fitting given their history of breaking things with each KB.

I've been a Windows user my whole life. I support 5000+ Windows devices along with the whole Microsoft enterprise suite. It's been bad with them, but there have usually been patches at some point or at least community discovered workarounds. However, Microsoft's reckless abandon into AI legitimately worries me.

I'm finally making the switch to Linux for personal devices.

Everywhere seems to have a Nazi problem. Not trying to downplay that specific issue because it does exist, but Ukraine has taken a lot of steps to remove those groups from positions of power. A lot more than other nations.

Smaller city, but don't forget about Omar Fateh in Minneapolis too. He won the DNC nomination against corporatist Frey and the DNC rolled back their nomination after the fact.

There are fights like this happening in more than just New York. It's important to keep that in mind.

At what point do these artists (read labels) start suing for defamation (read loss of profits).

The guy had a police vehicle or one modified to look like one.

Police engaged him at the Hortman's where he took cover in. They say he escaped on foot. The suspect supposedly had a fake badge, fake uniform, and appeared to have police kit such as a taser and tactical vest.

Police say they found a manifesto in the vehicle with a list of names.

Wearing body armor over blue shirt and pants. It looks like they engaged the suspect at the Hortman residence so they probably got a good look at him.

Maybe it's possible they were able to review CCTV footage already as well?

Their shelter in place advisory says not to open the door for a single police officer or to call 911 to confirm.

Metal ones seem nice. I agree with the plastic ones being shitty though. It just seems like more waste and microplastics being added to my brain fork.

Deepfakes being introduced to mainstream would just lead to them proliferating being shared on social media/texts/emails etc... The disclaimers would be cropped out, watermarks would be blurred or removed, and the general public who eats up rage baiting content would be effectively be forcefed even more misinformation in their feeds.

I'm sure there are good ways to prevent this, but the average user/consumer isn't going to put much effort into disproving what they are seeing. Esppecially if that content fits their narrative and reinforces their beliefs and tribal alignment.

The ID.4 Pro has been great to me. I had still been driving my paid off car from college, so all the newer "smart" features were a bit of a shock. Things like lane assist and sound alerts when backing up I turned off because they were too much/annoying. For instance, the lane assist had a hard time with some curves, or if there was an error in the road paint, or sometimes just hiccuped for no reason. It had trouble with snow on the roads as well.

I wouldn't buy one without having the ability to use an at home charger. My commute is about 65 miles a day and I don't often drive much further than that. I live in a cold state where in the winter it can get well below 0 fahrenheit. Battery is heavily impacted, and I do get more anxious about it general when it is very cold like that.

I have read some reports that Volkswagen wants to move away from touchscreens and back to analog buttons/knobs so maybe look for that in the future?
