Anything else good on that checklist that you remember now?

Editing? In a larger or smaller company?

Peacefully in his sleep isn't funny enough

I'm an intern for local gov

I love that I just sit in a decent office with amicable coworkers and a good boss. The commute is a good distance and I could even bike. I make decent money around 18 usd/hr after taxes. I don't ever have to think about work after 5pm.

I hate using Microsoft / windows / Adobe but it's tolerable. The real problem is not using my bachelor's that I just got and a lack of room for advancement.

.ent would quickly be picked up by the cannabis enthusiasts of course

And it's been like that for decades! I only learned this recently. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Literally?

I enjoyed the 4 hour Hobbit fanedit though I cannot remember which, or the name

It's not a graded project in a typical way and I already did a thesis esque project last year that I can basically repurpose. But I have to get the prof advisor signature and it feel super awkward to reach out with a month or less left.

It got opened and returned. No big deal except of course it was from a sex shop. So I hope someone enjoyed opening an unexpected package and finding what I bought.

Hello,

I have been upgrading this PC for years now, and the CPU is way behind. However I'm not sure what to put in. I planned on sticking with AMD, I'm running Linux Mint, and I want to spend $200-300. My monitor is capable of 165 FPS but nothing I play tends to reach that (Counter-Strike 2, Doom: The Dark Ages, Control, other big-budget games). So I'd like something that could help get this thing up to speed.

I'm also interested to hear what other components ought to be prioritized for upgrading in the future.

Thanks

And they're incandescent, not LED!

I'm sure anyone reading that has used Android in the last year has some gripes about the media control "tool" too. You cannot get that thing to operate in any sensible way. Screw me for using a music player, an audiobook player, playing videos on Firefox, and a podcast app. I don't want every one of those to live there forever!!!!! The only way to get the various apps to disappear is a long press and clicking hide, only until you use the app again. The buttons fail to work all the time. Then it glitches out, gets stuck ⅔ of the way through a swipe and is completely unusable. Maybe I'm missing it but it's not able to be turned off - I don't even want it off but it shouldn't break every single day. I hope someone else is as sick of this part of the UI as I am.

Yes, I know that I should move to Graphene before someone tells me.

I hope this is not against the rules - I tried with multiple frontends to find the list of rules but failed.

I'm trying to find the right keyboard and have not had all that much luck using aggregators like keeb-finder or mechanicalkeyboards.com. I'm hoping someone would be willing to make a recommendation based on these criteria:

  • 100%, maybe a few less keys but the number pad is necessary. 100+% is ok
  • tactile switches
  • USB passthrough for the mouse or whatever else
  • audio passthrough with audio out jack and mic in jack. I think this is the limiting feature, seems to be phased out except by brands like logitech and corsair.
  • standard ergonomic design
  • case material is not important nor is the key material really

Thanks for reading!

As in, if you were applying to delivery positions but you know they'll test for cannabis, would you even apply / interview? What about in a jurisdiction where the drug is recreationally legal?

I wanted a simple way to make a fun background for my desktop, and I found it! I used the pattern generator and highly recommend messing with it and the gradient maker. Please check it out just for the UI, it's awesome. I attached the hexagon background I made.
