He’s using old English - þ is a letter Thorn - and sounded like “th” in modern English. I guess he feels it’s edgy. It’s also sometimes written using the modern Y as in “Ye Olde Sweet Shop” to make businesses look historical. The internet is a weird place.

Call me a cynic, but engineering some rate limit on a cancellation page suits them rather well
