We want a technocracy, randomly selected individuals picked to fill roles in government based on their area of expertise. If all education is free and accessible, nobody is at a disadvantage. The bar for expertise can be pretty low too, like x years of work experience or any post-secondary education. There will still be that 30% of the population, who would normally vote as right as possible, to fuck shit up. But the majority will actually rule. You can only serve once and are compensated fairly for the damage it will do to your career. Representative Democracy is a failed experiment.

That's funny because other than West Island, I don't know many people under 18 that know English. The youth have so much Francophone YouTube and online content available now, they don't need English. It's so bad that they use French expressions and memes.

Where are you getting any of this? It's like you live in Ottawa or somewhere in Ontario. It's really hard to be that out of touch.

If this was about culture they would be providing a way for people to assimilate. Since they don't, they are showing through their actions that they don't actually care. I know people that went back to France because it was easier than dealing with the CAQs policy. People who's native language is French. Meet and talk to some real people and you will see what is going on.

For those who don't know, they forced everyone to speak French, then ran out of money for teaching people how to speak French and made French classes inaccessible for many people.

It was never about preserving French culture, it's about punishing English speakers, when everyone speaks French after being here for 5 years.

The fucking CAQ should be punished for the people's lives they ruined with new immigration rules and making immigrants pay out of pocket to learn French so they can keep living here.

It's like negotiating with a terrorist. It is all in bad faith and his goal is to terrorize, not make a deal. His deals are not even worth the paper they are printed on. We should tell them to pound sand, they will only make a deal that is a zero-sum where they are in the positive.

If someone represses my right to exist freely, they are going to find out what it is like to have their right to exist repressed. This is the tolerance of intolerance problem, us Canadians need to redefine how intolerance is tolerated.

He is really good at playing the "game" and right now it is easy because he opponents are idiots. You don't lead two central banks without learning how to navigate through politics.

A reminder to all US residents for when you are close to an ICE vehicle. If it is a low vehicle such as a car, if they try to run you over by going forward, you will be thrown over the hood and likely to be okay, but vehicles that are higher or the back of a car will suck you under. Don't stand behind an ICE vehicle or in front off an ICE truck/suv. It is safest from the side or the front of an ICE car. However check to see if the steering tires are straight because if it reverses and turns hard, it can suck you under the side.

10 million starving people have nothing to lose. No government can survive a true revolt.

Remember to bring some eye protection, don't let those nazis shoot you in the eye with objects. Safety glass can stop a peice of sharp metal flying a million miles an hour in a machine shop.

The day the crown exercises any power in Canada would be the last day we have a Monarch.

Making video games. The shit people write here about game dev is ridiculous, they will even argue with you when they are completely wrong. In general people on the internet are way out of their lane when they talk about game dev.
