Shocking, just incredible, unbelievable even...

The goal, if the old fool can be said to have one, isn't to have a consistent and coherent policy but to present as being dominating on all topics.

Command of the military and police by having big parades and deploying troops in domestic spaces.

Control of money with import taxes and gifts to friendly fellow moneyed people at his sole whim.

Control of people's movement, who stays and goes with their ICE gestapo acting with impunity.

Control of morality, dehumanizing the LGBTQ+ community and deeming anyone not fitting their vision of 'normal' as being undeserving of support.

You know, totally not the strongman/dictator/fascist thing...

Next up the ministry of truth

I can't imagine how you could have predicted that, with the history as an anti-vax nut and the hearings for his confirmation and whatnot...

I really don't see that happening. The internet and the real people that build it tend to be innovative tinkerers and hackers. Things get built because there's a need and someone tries to say they can't. P2P, darknets, proxies, VPNs, heck the whole concept of the fediverse defies the idea of control by an external entity. So they may try, but the chances are slim it works.

Their solely owned passthrough corporations however are free to invest at will.

Maybe people will be satisfied when they can put their TV under a microscope to determine the actor's sperm count...

It's been observed that the porn industry is often one of the first adapters of new media tech before they become commonplace, but I'm not sure some things need to be shown in that high a resolution.

Wasn't that a char on Jersey shore?

This is one accusation he actually could feasibly back upsince he's probably on the signal chat where they plan it.

...of things already known and public while keeping the rest locked away.

Just another distracting smokescreen.

I guess I would take it being a US judge as a given. Not that this admin listens to our judges anyhow, bit I expect one from another country would hold even less sway.
