I’m a coach in an olympic weightlifting club. I noticed that around the early intermediate until somewhere in the advanced region progress does not really correlate to body weight. I saw some 70-80 kg men make the same progress with olympic lifts but also squats and deadlifts as 100kg lifters. So for someone with 80kgs it seems to be the same amount of work to go from a 80kg squat to a 140kg squat as for a 100kg lifter. I think the differences in body weight starts showing when the weight exceeds a certain point somewhere around the double bodyweight squat. What are your takes/experiences on this?

Quality land by Marc Uwe Kling. The world is basically ruled by hyper capitalistic cooperations, people are rated by their productivity people don’t buy stuff actively, it’s bought for them by their personal AI when the algorithm thinks they need it.

The plot partly follows the presidential election between an AI powered Robot that tries to act in the interest of humanity versus a populist right wing TV cook that’s a shockingly close prediction of Trump. The other part is about the main character on his mission to refund an item he didn’t actually want.

To this day my favourite dystopian book.
