The BOC Subredditt is glowing. Legitimate VHS tapes have been sent from the WARP warehouse to random people containing a weird video message. It's a bit more complicated than that, just recently stumbled across this guy who looks deeper into it - https://youtu.be/tvwPKBXEOKE.

CGI is a big part but the (lack of) cinematography plays a much bigger part than i would have thought.
