If the plan is to go back to the moon with a more permanent presence, then maybe they should send some communication satellites..

I thought I remember reading that she wanted some kind of promotion, maybe a cabinet postition or something but was passed over, so she left that group of grifters to start her own.

What concerns me is that I always thought younger people were usually liberal by a pretty large majority, but now it seems like a bigger portion are conservative than in the past. So they might become more liberal as they age but they're starting further right than they used to. Kids who grew up through trups first term probably think this shit is normal. American principles have been eroded or completely re-defined, and they have no clue what we used to be and used to strive for.

Sascha Riley. Haven't read much about it yet to know how credible it is, but he was in the military and got called in to talk to superiors when some other soldier got caught with cp and one of the pictures was Riley when he was a kid.

What are the rules about following orders from someone who seems mentally incapacitated?

I'm having issues with the propellers. It works fine on Kerbin, but on Eve its impossible to control. Its like the CoL moves forward, and the plane wants to point retrograde once I get to a certain altitude. I can close the propeller service bays to regain control but lose control when I open them again. I guess I can try moving the propellers to the back of the plane, but would prefer them in the front to move the CoM forward since theres already a lot of weight with the engines on back. Anyone know whats happening?

I disagree. If not snake oil it would be something else. There are certain personality traits salesman seem to all have. I would describe it as a comfort with being disingenuous. Say or do anything to get money. Its often portrayed as "hustle culture" and praised. We should be condemning those traits not praising them.

... so the US is constantly getting ripped off by trade deals, but somehow is still the richest country the world has ever known... make it make sense..

As someone who also doesn't fully understand quantum entanglement.. is it that when two particles are entangled and far apart, when we observe them they will always be in the same state? Is there any way to manipulate that state? If so, it seems like it would be pretty straight forward to use it for faster than light communications.

I always thought this country valued freedom.. nobody "MUST" do anything relating to culture.

I had a thought the other day that I'm not nearly financially literate enough to know how true it is, but with all the talk about stocks going up, couldn't that be an effect of the dollar going down?

I will say that I don't live in the UK, so maybe it works differently. I'm assuming internet plans include some kind of service contract you have to sign, and minors can't legally sign contracts without parental consent. So every internet connection is the responsibility of the adult who did sign it. If kids are going to be using it then it is their responsibility to put parental controls on their network and devices.

But like the other response said, its not actually about protecting kids. Basically, if a politician ever says those words, its almost certainly an attempt to take away freedom.

The way I understand it is the farther away a object is the faster it is moving away from us, but also the farther away something is the older it is. So could that mean things were moving apart faster in the past but are slowing down?

Trying for an Eve SSTO. I'm pretty happy with this one. It is almost perfectly balanced. The center of mass hardly moves at all as the fuel is used. The 2 electric rotors can get it up above 3500 meters on Kerbin and has enough delta v to make it to Minimus. I'm confident I'll be able to land on Eve but not as confident about making it back to orbit. I'm also a bit worried about heat at the speeds needed to get back to orbit. We shall see.

I was hoping I could use it to go to different biomes, but its much slower than I expected.

My attempt at a cheap rescue plane to rescue kerbalnauts in low orbit when I need more crew.

I plan on sending a mining rover to leave on the surface for refueling. It has 4 medium rotors that gives it a max speed of around 160m/s. I'm not confident it will be enough on Eve.

So all of them that I've seen use propellers to get out of the lowest part of the atmosphere, but once you get above 15000m, what twr and delta v do you need?

I've somewhat recently become addicted to audiobooks. Every time I'm in my car or doing something mindless I put on an audiobook. I had a good stretch of one book I liked after another but now am looking to dig a little deeper. The books I've listened to so far were all books that I kept seeing being recommended over and over again.

Dungeon Crawler Carl Expeditionary Force Bobiverse Project Hail Mary The Martian The Expanse The Children of Time The Silo series Murderbot

Am I missing anything that gets consistently recommended?

What would you recommend that would fit with that list?

Other books I've tried but didn't love

Three body problem The Witcher books Wheel of Time

Anyone know what stats are needed? Is this good enough to make it?

We know pretty well what matter is and how it interacts with the others.

Dark matter interacts through gravity but not light. Beyond that I haven't heard much else.

And lastly anti-matter has an opposite charge and interacts with matter through annihilation. I think I remember hearing that it would react with dark matter the same way.

So my question is, does anti-dark matter exist, and what are it's properties?

Here I'm undocking the ISRU lander. I wanted to design a ship that wasn't lugging around unused lander engines by having them used as part of the main engines too. The lander also has all the science tools that can be used while landed, while the main ship has the science tools that can only be used in orbit along with a lab. The lander can make it to orbit of kerbin on its own, so it should be able to handle most planets and moons. I still need to test if the whole ship has enough delta v to make it from planet to planet.

I learned that the grabbers don't grab the ground but still work, and you don't have to worry about springs.
