The pay wall is actually insane! I bought my lifetime license back when it was 10ish dollars. But I just went to try to get the license for wife, ~45 dollars?!

Plus I do believe I remember being able to do more in the unpaid version back when I had it, now my wife can't change clock, show weather, change icons etc etc without paying.

Their last update was the "artistic" update, with new wallpapers "designed by real artists just for us". The wallpapers are very sus (ai) in my eyes. Not much has happened on the update front new feature wise for quite a while, just lots of customization.

I genuinely love this launcher, and I would find it hard to go back, but it is sad to see it go the way I see it going.

Ive always put the lid down along with the seat. I believe its more sanitary and has the added benefit of women not falling fully in the bowl like when the seats up. Ive done this for about 15 years.

A few years after I started doing this, I was spending the night at my friend's house. I had to get up early to go to work, so I was first up. My friends mother got up next apparently. I was bombarded with texts and such, her mom was angry because she got up and went to the bathroom and just went for it after she sat down. Queue giant liquid waste mess to clean and an angry start to her day.

All these years later, I still think its one of the funniest things I've ever been part of in real life.

Really? Because I predict that millions of Americans wont be voting Democrat or at all because of the utter incompetence of the Dems. Not to mention the immediate bending over for the GOP after winning 3(?) Elections, reopening the govt in exchange for a promise, when the right was in the worst position it has been in decades and just when they were really feeling the heat.

Plus, we all want the democrats to be the ones to make reasonable laws we can all get behind but they dont do that. Like the "high capacity" magazine bans. In a time where more leftists are arming themselves than ever before, nobody wants that. They keep warning of a fascist takeover while simultaneously disarming citizens. Or the fact they voted to fund the military to the tune of $1 trillion. Or the democrats that voted with Republicans against youth trans care. Or their response to most republican shenanigans, a strongly worded letter.

Democrats have been doing nothing but fumbling the easiest victories they could ever have over and over again. Idk how anyone can expect democrats to win anything with this old guard establishment demo still in power.

Say what you will about the GOP, and I hate what their doing as well. But at the end of the day they get their shit done. For better or worse, at least they dont just sit on their power. I wish I could say the same about the dems

Were the only country that states in its law on the ICC/Hague that we will invade if any American is held tried or convicted there.

Ive never really saw it like that. I felt it was more a point about "intelligence" breeding uncertainty and using logic to find the "perfect time". Worlds on fire? We wait. Weird guys is pres? We wait. Were not financially stable? We wait. And then they waited until it was too late. Meanwhile "less intelligent" people, although I think just more irresponsible, are banging out a bakers dozen per couple at a rate that the waiters can't possibly hope to come close too. That combined with societal problems like lack of education, corporation looting of our country, cuts to programs that care for people and children, especially making sure kids go to school and dont get left behind. Its all gone, and the few places you can find it are also the places who look at the world and decide to wait, resulting in worst birth rates.

All this combining to make a situation where breeding with reckless abandon is rewarded by society, because the "intelligent" humans are so seldom having kids, that theyre outnumbered 13 to 1 at least. Thus the world goes about how you'd expect.

The thing I dont like is the weight of intelligence in this movie. Yeah its a main theme, but there's so much nuance. Fish are great at swimming, but can't climb a tree. My boy that had 13 kids iirc was a football star in his school, probly knows how to fix things, cars plumb8ng electrical etc etc. Or has some other skill that he excels in. I dont like that humans that dont know calculus and trig are stupid. Smart couple probly can't fix their stove, probly get take advantage of by the "stupid" at the car dealer. We'll whos stupid know.

I think there's more nuance to this film than meets the eye, but because media literacy is at an all time low, people only see it as haha stupid people (the people im already against are the stupid) and they destroy society. I dont think thats all this movie is

Just my two cents, sry for the wall of text.

Having a kid is the most selfish thing one can do with their life. You're saying "I like myself and my partner so much and think we're so good for the world that im going to make a mini copy of me and my partner, because the world needs more of us"

Can't force you to have kids, the kids aren't asking to be conceived or born. Only person making that decision is you and its a selfish one.

I say this as a father of two girls

The proposal itself shouldnt be a surprise, when it happens should.

Like, you should know they want to marry you before you do it. But the whole ceremony of a formal proposal can and should be left a surprise!
