We have a separatist movement in Alberta, that is fueled by a sycophantic and borderline treasonous Premier and UCP, multiple NGOs and special interest groups some of whom have already been fined for hiding their funding, and a think tank that gets more than 10% of their reported and direct funding from the US (ignoring funding that comes from the US but goes through one hop in Canada, thus legitimizing it).

Is it too much to ask that someone do some fucking investigation? Dig in and make sure the funding is all legitimate before we give up our whole country to a demonstrated enemy whose main mode of attack is division, propaganda and disinformation??

Canadians: Greenland must be the line in the sand. Non negotiable.

Firstly it gives Poilievre an honest opportunity to contribute. People want to see everyone working together, so by letting Poilievre in right away he's giving him a chance to temper the rhetoric and get work done. And if he doesn't temper the rhetoric, it's likely to work in Carney's favour. If he's seen as obstructing, it will not look good for him. It seems like a win-win-win... It looks like fair dealing, if Poilievre comes to the table honestly it works for Carney, if he doesn't it works for Carney as well. It's good politics that is both strategic in the way it encourages good cooperation and has good optics around fairness.

Secondly, the elephant in the room is the separation nonsense. Poilievre is running for a seat in the heart of separatist country, and with the separation rhetoric ramping up, better to have Poilievre - who is ideologically tied to Smith and will be representing Alberta - in the public eye as soon as possible, so he can wear this garbage. After all, Smith seems to be adept at causing no end of hassle for Poilievre. Best to put him front and centre as soon as possible so he is forced to respond to it.

This is just one of thousands of examples of immense disrespect. And his cult follows him along through everything.

I'm all seriousness, if you find this appealing, would you not be happier if you just move there? If you have no allegiance to this country, please be respectful, have some dignity, and don't actively try to ruin it for the rest of us. Stop trying to sabotage this country by actively undermining it.

At the first Trump cabinet meeting, he stated his intentions clearly. He restated blatant lies and disinformation, and he won't really be questioned on it from the press or from any US politicians. The US is the enemy of Canada and should be understood as such. Take heed of his treatment of Ukraine - when he noted that they would lose the war without US help - and consider what he will propose when he uses the same argument on us. He makes it very clear in the video.

And very carefully consider which of our political leaders will stand up to Trump when he makes the argument that we need American military in our country to protect us.
