I use it for marketplace. It's like a little buying and selling community in my area. I figure it's good for the environment and I make a little cash so I guess Mark Zuckerberg can spy on me all he wants. Weirdo.

If we can't exercise our first amendment, maybe it's time to exercise our 2nd?

Babies are little people just like us. They have bad days, and good days. Also try to relax, and enjoy it as much as you can. You are not perfect and you shouldn't try to be. Just focus on the love you have for them and give them plenty of snuggles. Congrats!

How was it? I am pretty introverted but realistically going without human contact for an extended period sounds difficult.

Apparently gpt-5 is much worse, or so the subreddit dedicated to it says. I wonder if that loop has already started?

I am not religious, but I like the substance of this quote by C.S. Lewis: "If we are all going to be destroyed by an atomic bomb, let that bomb when it comes find us doing sensible and human things —praying, working, teaching, reading, listening to music, bathing the children, playing tennis, chatting to our friends over a pint and a game of darts—not huddled together like frightened sheep and thinking about bombs. They may break our bodies (any microbe can do that) but they need not dominate our minds."

There are always wars, rumours of wars, plagues, natural disasters, but the work remains the same as it has been for much of human history.

What was your experience in getting those prescribed? Was it a matter of just being overweight? Did they go over lifestyle changes as well? There was a guy at work that was going to get them prescribed. He was very overweight, but he ate horrible food, a lot of candy, and drank three monsters a day. I'll admit I got a little judgemental when he mentioned the medication. He was a good guy and I cared about him, but hard to help him see his lifestyle was probably the cause of a lot of his issues. I ultimately didn't care how he got healthy, if its a pill so be it. But hopefully the lifestyle changes are tried as well. I also think we really need to focus on the mental health aspect of it. He was really hard on himself and I found myself regularly trying to steer him away from that.
