I've heard all these shark existence analogies, but this was a new one and blew my mind again. Sharks are so OLD.

Thank you so much!! She really does. I don't know how I got so spoiled with with. I make sure she knows how incredible she is and give her lots of leafy greens every day.

Their more recent stuff has better narrative, I think. Like I am really enjoying their Shadow dark campaign, I thoroughly enjoy their Delta Green campaign, Get in the Trunk. They don't avoid combat but I think they do a good job of growing the show beyond rolling dice and excitedly shouting about 20's or bemoaning 1's. For me at least, I get they're not everyone's cup of tea, but they hit every note for me.

What about actual play podcasts? The only podcast I listen other is Glass Cannon. Or rather, shows in their network. Its the only place I get my TTRPG fix anymore

Yeah, I don't disagree with that. Although isolation is kind of part of the goal of the administration, I think cutting ties with the dumpster fire is a good safety measure for any organization in Europe.

That being said, if we can flip this quickly into fascism, maybe we can slide out just as quickly? That is copium on max setting. But what I mean is maybe this horrible descent we are seeing, coupled with the inherent chaos of our 4 year personality complex and major internal pushback from the American public could course correct.

Again, that last bit is like crumbs of copium. I don't really believe that, the end is nigh. But I have to at least TRY and see some light.

I agree with that, I also don't think the USA is unique in its misogyny. It definitely exists elsewhere in the world. It's gross, to be very tame and systematically depraved to be more honest with how I feel. Honestly that one "joke" has permanently inspired me that we need more women leaders.

Also, he is from Canada and openly supports the Right and most things about the US right now. I think he is from Alberta, based on previous stories told but I havent asked him directly. So in his particular case, seems like a coin flip for good policy to move him.

I think youre right that good policies can convince people, but right now with how angry and generally polar everyone in the USA is at the working class level, nobody is listening to policy.

The first "joke" I heard after the pedo took power was at work from my manager, "He saved us from having a woman president TWICE!" Then he smiled and laughed. Gross behavior in the workplace

While Kamala and Hillary both were shitty candidates for a variety of reason, there's also so much ingrained misogyny. I think AOC could be a great candidate but even if our elections would be fair in 2 years, which they won't, there's still a significant portion of male Americans who just won't vote for a woman president.

I am glad she is showing people, at least in Europe, that not all of our policymakers are working with this administration and do not wish for the Auth. American future we are sprinting towards. Fuck, this ended up being a /rant.
