Is this the last part I need to actually now bin the Google Home devices?
I use them to switch lights, listen to music and change the temperature.
With this, could I use that as the voice commands into home assistant for example?

Octopi Launcher. Until I found this I was ignoring all the red flags with Nova.
Found this, ran away from Nova.
Octopi Launcher is damn near a replacement. Learn nothing new, muscle memory for swiping up or down on dock icons to open other apps.
Those were my requirements and it nails it.
All of his videos are like that.
The one that sticks with me is Apple Glarse, his renaming of their Glass UI design.
Worth reporting it in the app/play store?

No, the US Purism phone is not 100% American.
They have a different supply chain for it where European manufacturers are used for some parts.
But some things are only made in China. So I think what was said is Purism source some of the raw materials for these items and have them made to a higher tolerance for reliability.
I take it as a "fixed" reference. Many people know the Amish community hit a point and chose not to use new technology created after that.
They are not against it, or others using it.
I don't interpret the phrase as having malace, just a way to show this might be the new line in the sand.
