Does Textra support RCS?

The RCS interfaces (APIs) on Android are currently only available for Google internally to use, no other third party developer has access.

We are hopeful Google will make these RCS interfaces available in the near future to all developers (in the spirit of Android open source), so that Textra SMS can also offer RCS functionality.

The kind of savage whose company is too cheap for a LastPass enterprise license?

For now its only supposed to check Google Messages, so not if you use a different text app.

Shameless plug for Textra as a much, much better alternative.

Yeah, exactly! This should serve no purpose other than reminding people to cancel their subscription from the Olympics or last season's NFL playoffs.

TBH, I was shocked to find out that it's already higher than $8 a month. Absolutely laughable prices here.

Don't forget the fact that you absolutely, positively cannot trust the quality of the item that will arrive. At this point, you're much more likely to get some third party knock off with a lot of popular items.

Usability-reducing features like this do me a favor by giving me yet another reason to use Amazon less and less.

You don't really need anything else. Frankly, the guy you're replying to is being a whiny bitch about this. FF + uBlock is plenty - all you have to do is spend 60 seconds configuring it.

Toggle FF's AI killswitch to the "enabled" option, set your default search engine to whatever you prefer, and turn on uBlock's "annoyances" list. That's it.

It's bait. The only "better" browsers are downstreams of FF.

1. Embedded watermarks in text

When a supported Claude model generates text, it weaves an imperceptible watermark directly into the text itself. You won’t see it, and it doesn’t change the meaning, quality, or readability of Claude’s response.

Because the watermark is part of the text, it will travel with the text when it’s copied and pasted elsewhere, and may persist through some editing. Watermarking will be applied at the model level, which means it will be present no matter which Claude product or surface the text comes from.

Can someone ELI5 how this would actually work, especially with copying and pasting?

Congratulations on reproducing the technology brought to us by DVRs decades ago!

Netflix is up to $27/month now. It's insane.
