I’m a big fan of Zojirushi’s mugs. You’ll need a bottle brush to clean, but I think all their gaskets are removable and replaceable. I’ve never had a problem with leaks and they have a solid sliding lock.

Everybody is fine with celebrities like Whoopi Goldberg making up fake names for themselves, but when someone chooses a name for themselves to suit their gender identity it's suddenly a problem in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world

This is why in The Simpson you will see David S. Cohen and in Futurama he is David X. Cohen. I think in a Futurama commentary he told about confusion in a guild or royalty payments that made him change how he was credited.

If you have cut off mainstream music streaming, how do you discover new music or artists and songs like what you're listening frequently? in c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

Most local libraries have CDs. The library is about as far as you can get from big tech because they are made to serve you instead of make a profit.

For discovery— do you have a community radio station. There’s one near me that cycles through different genres and DJs. And just talk to people. Make it a conversation starter when ever you meet someone.
