Oh hey, I'm an IT auditor, I work on Sox clients during half the year. That really is an obscure topic, but I'm not sure I want to discuss it outside of work !

And now, the government just officially defined LFI as "extrême gauche". And I don't mean in speeches but legally. This pissed off the real "extrême gauche", stating that there is a difference between trying to tame capitalism vs abolishing it. But hey all the same to the media and the government: don't you dare criticizing this magnificent system that keeps us on top and you at the bottom
Almost there. So the "value" provided by the owner is money. It is capital. Which is needed purely because of the system in place, that was the whole point all along.
In almost all cases, the owner does not build the house. Thats done by the masons, electricians, plumbers etc ... So the owner did not create value
This is not capitalism, this is a market based system, which can happen to exist outside of capitalism.
Capitalism is is the ownership of value by capital ( property of shares, housing etc.. gives you benefits because you own them, not because you provided value).
Something to keep in mind while talking about birth rate in France, is that we have a retirement system that is centered around growth. We do not have individual retirement plans, we pay each month for the currently retired people, and the workers will pay for ours when we retire. This creates a problem when the population of retired ppl is in augmentation and the active population ( working and paying taxes) is declining.
For a long time there was way more active pop than retired so we have a safety net, but it will slowly erode. And currently the political "solution" being pushed is not growing the active population (immigration for instance), but shifting the system towards a capitalisation (ie. Simililar to 401k)
Oh this one is really something. Even as a clueless teen I still had WTF moments, and I don't even want to read it now, I just know I will be cringing the whole time.
EU regulations are applied in France, but there are stricter regulations, for exemple the ban of more neonicotinoids, herbicides and insecticides than required by EU.
Just wanted to chime in and say that all french representatives voted against it, because France have strong regulations imposed upon farmers and this agreement would allow for food grown or raised under less strict regulations to be sold in France. As these products will probably be sold cheaper, it raises concern for farmers who will stil need to comply to regulations, or for consumer if these regulations are lifted.
I don't think so, but it keeps coming in my searches also, I guess I will try it to see if it fits my memories !
It was definitely this one ! I remember playing it at a friend's house and having a blast
For the mobile part, I'd like to introduce you to shattered pixel dungeon!
