For some reason, when I opened my app today, communities that I previously blocked are now showing up in my popular and all feeds again.

Yes! It was hilarious and every character was likeable. I highly recommend if you like romcoms (more com than rom but still lots of cute rom)

I really want a season 2! We didn't get to find out the B-side of F/ACE's 5th member yet. Glad Utage's work hiatus only lasted about 30 seconds.

Yeah I'd much rather have a 3 day weekend

It looks like Kinoshita is finally taking Tamon off of his pedestal and accepting that he's human like anyone else. It really sucks that she feels she needs to cut ties because of it though, but I'm sure he won't let her.

Looking forward to next week.

You mean you don't dramatically run to scenic views to talk your emotions out into the void?

I usually just run the scoop under hot water for a few seconds, usually cuts right through the ice cream.

It almost sounded like the aunt was hinting that Kaya wasn't really her mother's kid. This show is getting pretty interesting. I'm glad it hasn't stuck to the slice of life vibe from the first couple episodes.

Great, let me just hop in my time machine and vote differently in the last election 🙄

Yep, I won't be voting for them the next election. I voted to avoid a conservative government and feel like we ended up with one anyways. It's very disheartening and I wish they would switch us to a ranked ballot or something like it.

Because #whynot?

I have too much stuff lol. I went semi-hydro for a bit so I have leca, bonsai mix, and zeolite (zeolite was a bag of ecotraction). I also bought some silica sand (i think it was a bag of pool filter? it was cheaper) to mix into soil to make carnivorous plant medium.

These days I mostly just use potting soil, cactus soil, perlite, and orchid bark. I prefer pumice over perlite since it doesn't rise to the top when you water, but perlite is cheaper. I keep a bag of sphagnum moss for growing alocasia corms, though I've also used leca for that and it works well too.

I grew a bunch of succulents and a caudex plant from seeds in cactus soil, they did well (I also had fungus gnats at the time so I lost some to those).

my caudex plants now mostly live in a 1:1:1 mix of cactus soil (or regular soil if I've forgotten that I use cactus soil for them), perlite, and orchid bark. They're all pretty happy.

The person on Bluesky mentioned they are Canadian :\

I just adore this plant

Thought you all might appreciate a follow-up now that a bunch of leaves have come in. Here's hoping they remain for at least 6 months, that last dormancy took forever!

The leaves are definitely the show-stopper, but the flowers are pretty too :)

The plant is a Dioscorea elephantipes. Been raising this cute little one since he was a seed in July 2023 :)

My friend and I like to swap cuttings, I made out like a bandit this time :P

I only had about 5 cuttings for her this time, going to have to step up my game! (I'm running out of plants she doesn't already have 😰)

It's in a 2" pot for reference. Super cute and compact :)

After treating for spider mites when I first got it (May of this year) the leaves weren't doing so hot. The new leaf is beautiful though!

Also already has a baby that popped up last month :)

Thought you might all enjoy this curious little cardinal checking out the security camera :)
