I had many of the same revelations when I got out of the military. I worked nights and Armed Forces Network played literally every game. I watched so much football on my last deployment. Once I got out, I realized how hard it was to follow football. Once I stared a family I gave up completely.

I know this. Passing a resolution saying that the president must obey the constitution is outrageous. This should not be normalized. If a president is violating the constitution the correct response is impeachment and removal, not a resolution. There are a few republicans trying to save face by this half measure.

If a president ignores the constitution and starts a war, the remedy is impeachment for high crimes.

I’m really starting to get into old western movies (lemmy.world)
 

I finally watched the two movies that come before The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. I loved them. They were exciting and dramatic and had some decent storytelling.

What I liked most was they don’t spoon feed you everything. If you’re not paying attention and are on your phone you’re not going to know what’s going on. For example, I was on my phone, looked up, and saw that the hero was doing terribly at target practice. I had to rewind to see that they broke his right hand and was learning to shoot with his left. I swear modern movies just have actors narrating and renarrating what they’re doing because they know you’re on your phone not really paying attention.

Also, I realized that when a cowboy does a super quick draw and shoots 3 men before they can draw it’s just like an anime when there is a flash and the hero sheathes their sword, with enemies falling over dead.

The MAHA report got me thinking. We need a concise slur for people who blindly copy and paste LLM outputs. It needs to say that the person is lazy, ignorant, gullible, disrespectful, and dishonest all at once. Something along the lines of NPC. Maybe parrot? But that’s not too catchy. Any ideas?
