Ah, thanks both. I have no experience of plastic sheds and thought maybe they'd be superior.

Wood for the win it is then.

Keen not to buy American (lifetime) or Isralie (Keter). Anyone know of a UK (ideally to keep the air miles down) or European product alternative please?

I felt bad dropping €600 on a German hotel thro Expedia but that was genuinely the cheapest place, by such a margin that I couldn't afford to buy direct. The hotel wouldn't entertain it at all.

What isn't helped is the extra discount thro sites like topcashback

I forgot I had it installed. Pulls yt videos without delay, without ads.

I do have a vpn so could pop off to Albania but I'm unsure of there's less revenue for yt by using grayjay?

As a home owner I'd be thanking you too as I really can't make ROI on solar within an acceptable timescale where TOU tariffs make it alot easier with a home battery (I'd caveat not a given for some use cases).

This is coming from someone that has had solar pv for almost 2 decades now.

The comment you were replying to was almost certainly being sarcastic, least not due to the exclamation mark instead of a question mark.

That too is a sign of Britishness! :)

Good reminder, my domain is up soon and I need to do the same.

You can see it also has a net over the top yes? It means the road is totally enclosed

Mullvad really does sound like the only option if you're 100% committed to this.

I'm using Proton as i hear it comes a close 2nd, is alot cheaper and what I'm hiding isn't massively sensitive

Fantastic point, I'd missed the nuance of this. That gap would be a significant concern without all of the more heinous implications of this action.

Oh wow, that's a really good point that I'd missed. Thanks for helping me understand the full threat from this.

I'm not trans and keen to understand how this impacts a trans person.

My. Immediate thought was it's intentionally leaving out the part that says you'll be issued with a replacement so won't stop you from driving so no biggie right?

However, that's diminishing the cruelty of it - it's about the emotional trauma from a government forcing you to officially identify as something you've fought your whole life not to be.

It's somewhat telling that you comment implies that everyone else has an accent and you don't :)

I noticed that accuweather measures snow differently to rain. Rain is in mm but snow is in cm - that's mildly infuriating to me.

Right, I suspect I'm for the chop in January and didn't want to leave anything on the table.

What actions should I take now rather than wait for redundancy?

I'm talking less about "hit the gym/LinkedIn" and more to get the most from the company while I'm still engaged.

So for example, I plan to call on the employee assistance services to work on some counselling that I suspect could help me (in case that service extends indefinitely while the case is open).

Just had a horrific experience with priceline.

Booked half board for 2 adults and a child through them. My spidery senses tingled so I checked with the hotel and they'd only booked for 2 adults, and only breakfast.

Try as I might I could neither get them to comprehend the issue, or accept fault (preferring to blame the hotel somehow).

Long story short: don't be like NotJohn, don't use priceline - your stress levels will thank you

Spending lots of time fighting nature in my garden, wondered if anyone had a recommendation for a podcast pls as my feed is dry.

My current listens are Johnny Vaughan, Danny Wallace, Wolf & Owl, Pappy's, Help i sexted my boss and no such thing as a fish.

I feel like I've done history podcasts to death. Non-US as I work for an American firm and need some separation while not at work! :)

Thanks

My 5yr old son has just been diagnosed. The diagnosis was binary (yes:no) rather than a scale which was the first lesson for me.

I need to understand how to support him and am not sure where to start. Does anyone have any advice please?
