It's a point but it doesn't actually exist at any point. It exists in a cloud where it could exist anywhere in there.

It's been a while since I watched the prequels, but the idea I got was everyone knew the Jedi existed: they were major players in the galactic senate as you referenced. But very few people would ever get to see Jedis use force powers. They might see them brandish a lightsaber. Which to a culture who had space ships, blasters, and the ability to block lightsabers (even if the materials were rare), laser swords might have seemed antiquated and quaint.

And the powers the Jedi seemed to use in populated places the most often were mind powers which aren't necessarily observable: even Luke watching Obi-Wan mind-trick a stormtrooper was baffled. Seeing Yoda throw ships around might be a thing only a handful of people saw in a century and became little more than legend.

Ooor I might be rationalizing a lot of plot holes without realizing it. :)

People used to use trucks for hauling. Now they are $70k+ status symbols for people who need to scream, "I am insecure."

The man embarrassed the US by leaking their DMs.

When you do that to a nation about their classified intel, it's called espionage. It's a biiiit more serious than a social media hack.

In practical terms, espionage can affect thousands of lives directly and change the course of a war. Imagined the shitshow if someone released that kind of info now. It could jeopardize the Ukraine conflict. It's treated as more serious than murder because it can be.

Corps figured out sustained income was better than marketing and making products. All they had to do was take away every digital product and turn it into a subscription.

Then they'll buy each other up until they are an effective monopoly and raise prices forever.

I don't see a way out of this for products already captured if you need them.

When I was in school, it was always specific models. They had to limit it to one brand and like 2-3 known good models to prevent the ones that could solve equations.

So there's no reason for TI to ever lower prices.

Making a road with shops and services pedestrian-only will greatly increase foot traffic and people shopping there. Now people will walk down the street and stop in places they happen to find. In cars people who to know about it and specifically choose to go there.

Imagine living in a world where squirrel you startled would jump out of a bush and electrocute people. Or that flower you tried to pick was actually a pokemon and just sprayed you with sarin gas?

In that world I would empathize with gun nuts. How else will you deal with the 30-50 feral Lechonk that run into my yard within 3-5 mins while my small kids play?

That sounds like bullshit. Definitely need a source.

Yeah it's definitely her fault Americans are misogynists and rather vote for a sexual predator than a woman.
