My cats just watch me take my showers...
Then they like to play in there when I'm done.
Mithre
Roast potatoes! My grandmother made the best roast potatoes in the pan as the roast beef dripped fat down on them; they were amazing, but it's sad that the meat had to be sacrificed to make them that way...
That matches the last time I checked as well. A cross country basic ticket was the same cost as a plane ticket, but if I wanted anything more than a basic chair then the price quickly skyrocketed.
Reason to remember the name
It was my character name in my first MMO, the English beta for MapleStory back over 20 years ago, and I've been using it ever since. I picked it since it was close to Mithril, from Lord of the Rings.
Our development branch is "working", then we have specific dated snapshots where we run our datasets through our programs.
Mass Effect Andromeda. I loved the original trilogy, even the third one, and I was hopeful that they'd live up to what they were promising. Instead, we got a garbage game that completely tossed the idea of exploring a new galaxy. I tried to play it 3 different times, just to give it a chance, and I couldn't go through with it.
I'd say part of the problem for Andromeda was that everyone else got there first in terms of colonization; the player isn't exploring a new location, untouched by colonists, they're going to an established settlement and exploring around that instead.
One of my cats periodically likes to stick his head through the window blinds at 2 in the morning to look outside. When he does that he makes these terrible choking noises, which causes me, if I'm awake to hear it, to run out and check on him. At that point, he'll pull his head out and look at me like I'm the idiot for being worried about him...
I'm pretty locked in to Calibre myself. I use a plugin called fanficfare to collect web fictions I like, which generates epubs and updates them when the stories get updated. Across those and regular books I've got about 6k books in my digital library. Right now it just runs on my desktop, but I'd like to move it to my server at some point.
As for actually reading them, I either plug in my kobo and manually sync/add books that way, or use the now discontinued Calibre Companion app on android to do the same on my phone. Unfortunately I haven't found an app that is good enough to replace it for my needs, so I just deal with the app being unstable on the current version of android.
