Funny thing, I use Tailscale to tunnel the access, but use cloudflare dns for device adress resolution.

Well ultimately its also just a russian nerd building a nice program, but I get where you're coming from. Good luck with your search and hopefully you'll find what you're looking for.

I also felt that way first but ultimately resigned as I couldnt find a decent alternative. Just curious, are you concerned about spyware/potentially malicious updates or do you just want to be sure/free of proprietary software?

I use AIMP. My Library has roughly 6k files, it has replay gain and mostly when I add new files it notices it automatically and includes them in the library relatively quickly. You can also choose to manually scan for just tag or cover changes. And as a nice bonus, there are a few user made themes you can use to customize the look of the app. My only critique of the app up to date is, that the audio suffers a bit when using volume boost and that the ui requires a bit of learning how to use it.

I played the games roughly 2 Months ago and I really liked the series and it was interesting how the developer improved over the games. Regarding the gore I think the most unsettling was the sprite of a student trying to hold its own guts in and also a bit the shift of what happened in the third game, but I think overall its not too bad and the games are really worth it. The story and themes can definitely shake ones feelings, but theres worse. I remember binge watching all of omori a few years ago which hit me so hard I completely obsessed over it for weeks. Anyways if you do play the series I recommend saving frequently. Sometimes there are diverging paths, but more importantly there are some decisions which can result in an instant death and replaying an hour just because you've been captivated by the game (and not saving) can taint the experience a bit. Tldr: I really like the characters and the story of the games, especially the second and third one and can definetely recommend the series.

If you like 2D platformers there are cats are liquid, cat bird and slime labs. Besides that, Progressbar95 is also fun

Yes. Both parties have to share the device on which they want to run warpinator out to the tailnet of the other person. If you already use tailscale for other personal stuff I'd recommend you make an additional tailscale account, you can use to connect to other peoples tailnets, as on linux you can simply switch between them with 'tailscale switch '

On any Fedora based distro you can quite easily install the proprietary nvidia drivers (this is necessary for a good experience btw). For windows programs you could take a look at winboat, it basically spins up windows in docker and it doesnt need any configuration whatsoever. For an animated wallpaper, KDE Plasma has a wallpaper engine plugin. Its a bit fiddly as I remember and not every wallpaper works, but its good enough for me.
