A case wont get to the Emmc. You know what will do the same without being explosive whatsoever? Using something secure.

Look at the duress options on GrapheneOS for example.

Unfortunately I just can't manage to look anywhere near feminine

My face is really puffed on the cheeks and generally I don't know how to do makeup

I've been told some tips to make my hair way better though (hair oil and hair masks) so I'm trying that when I come home :3

If you have never looked at those ghibli AI Memes, you will recognise everything

The color is just white instead of poop stain brows

Also no author.

I have a multi monitor setup and regularly play helldivers, war thunder, etc on an rtx card on a display with gsync

The games often have stuttering problems and behave generally unexpectedly when in full screen, and mouse capture dosent work, so 50% of the time I had to disable the monitor so it dosent go to the other screen and tab out of the game

Tried on both endeavourOS and mint, so its probably a cinnamon thing

I use it on my backup PC tho and never had a problem with normal applications, its great performance wise

Fedora

Used linux for 4 years now, I'll list it and the reason why I switched

  • Ubuntu (snaps, etc)

  • arch (too much setup)

  • opensuse (nvidia drivers don't get checked for size, broke my GUI many times

  • Gentoo (too much compile time)

  • bazzite (a bit boring)

  • fedora atomic (immutable, can't get mullvad on it), still use on my htpc

  • mint (cinnamon DE is shit)

  • endeavour (its still arch)

  • fedora regular

Nothing. Graphene is a niche project aimed at making a secure implementation of AOSP and its standards without compromising usability.

People are comparing it to non-secure OSs which only security feature is a Monthly subscription for a Dns blocker, which Graphene dosent like. And then there's scams showing AI generated pics of Graphene being vulnerable to Graphite to go buy their pre flashed pixels for double the price

But all those links are being deleted by their staff, and I can't find it since the Instagram posts have 10 views at most

From my own experience, they are mostly referring to trolls and or stupid people posting links and videos from phoney creators alleging stuff like that Graphene has been hacked by {insert exploit here} while selling their own overpriced phones with Graphene preloaded

Generally what's happening is what you would expect from a niche Project that casual creators (like networkChuck, TechLore, etc) picked up in a video and thus (with no malice to be clear) drove into the mainstream-bullshit-content-mill-3000™

Bober Kurva

Kinda a rant, but most forks are in no way reputable. Fork systemd as much as you want, fork everything as much as you want, good luck keeping up with the changes and actually being as reliable.

  1. X spin applies for any distro providing spins, like Debian, void, arch install, etc

Once again, I have to remind everyone the difference between a replacement and an alternative.

  1. Yes, google is shit
  2. That dosent mean /e/, iode, and the rest is automatically better than google.

That being said, the volla attestation API is once again a google replacement. Not an alternative, but a „google” with another name. They are still just as vulnerable to corruption, court orders, etc as google is. Its like throwing out your Alexa for spying, but instead buying another Alexa, but instead of Amazon it's nozama. Look people, instead of unsecured s3 bucket 3, I use unsecured S3 bucket 4 that I'm sending my data through via http. Me so smarty pants

Once again, volla and their attestation will become just as big and corrupt as google. It is the job of the software to be designed in a way that it can't be abused like google is abusing their G services. This is not given with volla attestation. There is already an implemented software. Its called android attestation.

[An Image of a Cigarette Lighter Socket in a Car, With the Text "Checkmate Liberals, I´ll put my dick whereever I want"]

I said this in a rant about Right to repair and Technology in a Audi Q3, saying that "If I want to put the Power Cords of one of the Matrix LED Lights of it on my Dick, I dont want to have to Authorise it via a Dealership Application first for Parts Locking"

But honestly it is very funny out of Context

(Made with Krita)

Until now I've had fedora, opensuse and arch. I don't really like arch nowadays, so I was thinking more of a fedora cinnamon or LXQT. Opensuse is okay I guess. Any suggestions?

Honestly, if steam has to cut the 30% fee, its just more money for the Devs. Cross Plattform dlcs? Hell yeah.

I honestly dont See the problem with the lawsuit. Sure, its a loaoboll'ks mayt`, but why the fuck not? After all, why shouldn't steam get even better than it already is?

A few Werks ago, I sold my Xbox one and with that my only working controller for my PC. Since then, i have been playing hollowknight and Jedi fallen order on my old Xbox 360 controller with its unlikeable d-pad, even after multiple mods to it.

And with the steam controller coming, im eagerly awaiting the steam controller

My guess is about 100-150€, since the price of a General controller with back buttons and no Hall effect Joysticks or touchpads is already about 100€, so this + all the cool shit steam is doing will be more.

Im currently making a costum 10x10 led matrix, and for it to be able to display senseable stuff, im trying to segment the display into 10 vertical lines which cycle at at least 100hz. Would a Python script on a raspberry pi be able to cycle its GPIO pins at this speed? Or Would an arduino or other Microcontroller be able to do it better?

This is probably why the last releases for Graphene were so uneventful, but its good to hear that all hope is not lost... Yet

I have a brother laser Printer which I use via IPP from my network. It can hold a bunch of pages in RAM and Print them once the other (it can Print 3 in a row) are finished.

Now what does any propriatery printing service do?

They feed ONE PAGE AT A TIME, so my printer starts printing, then it starts cooling off, but then it has to HEAT UP AGAIN FOR FUCKS SAKE, and that every time.

Also if I just print via CUPS from my Linux machine, its like 5 times faster.

And I just don't understand how my 15€ thin client from over 20 years ago can do more and better than my 1200€ iPad.

Just a reminder why I keep using Linux.

The employee tried to Ask the AI what it can do, but he had to Fact check Google Gemini so often that the family lost interest XD

At the same time I was checking out a last gen Switch for my Router and the Fairphone 6, and I got to hear the employee literally argue with Gemini about what Pixel phones it is availible on. To be honest, it was really hard not to laugh

I have a merely 3 year old PC I bought for 1500€ a 5600x and 3060ti, yet it for some reason can't run cronos, a single player linear game, on low settings without constant lags

The whole game consists of grayscale. There is simply nothing that would require the computing power

And its not really a realistic progress of computing requirements, while they state that my entry level ryzen 5 5600x can run it on optimal settings, for some reason they require an extremely up to date GPU, which just tells me that they just crammed in every kind of graphics tech so their Grayscale smog looks better
