So, the internet does not convey sarcasm or jokes very well, especially in text form.

I know you probably don’t care, and that’s good, but that’s why I assume you got the downvotes.

A simple /s is easy enough to type out to avoid a downvote or 5. ;p

I see your point, but in the case of corpos wanting to make money, it is very likely the newer ones are very much of lower quality than the ones I had 10-20 years ago.

Because, you know, “profits over people” and all that.

They're not very good now, and sort of taste like chemicals. :/

It's just a joke is all.

I remember the clowns Marjorie and Boebert acting like little children at the Biden SOTU, and they were still allowed to do all their dumb shit. Funny how it always ends up like this on the other side.

As Ftumch said, winget is really the way to go these days. No browser, just:

Terminal > winget install mozilla.firefox > Done.

Is it FlyingSquid you are talking about? I was there for all of that too. I think they left for UK, and then the UK got worse, so I hope he and his family are safe and well, at least. :/

EDIT: Sorry, I see now where you said they identified as female and I don't recall Squid saying that.

I've got one myself and can say that it is definitely fun and worth the $5 I put to it every month. :)

The problem is that they think they don't need real friends because of their non-sentient LLM. :/

I tried it out one time because another user here, Tal, usually put it into their very well made comments, so I tried it out.

Yeah, I've been paying for it for almost two years(?) and I never have these difficulties any more. Very happy customer. :)

This was beautiful to read, and I feel the same as you. Thank you so much for sharing such a heart warming story. :')

While true, you don't see anyone else at all even trying to be better than Steam, unfortunately. :/

Hey, all.

I wanted to ask if anyone else has issues using the video playback controls in the web version of Voyager? I want to scrub to a certain point in the videos, but every time I click or drag the progress bar, it either move the video with my mouse, or it will just show/hide the controls.

Am I just trying to use the same method on the web version that I do for the phone app version, and it doesn't work like that, or am I supposed to be able to use my keyboard? The arrow keys don't work for that either.

Either way, thank you for the time to read this!

Hi, everyone!

I've been using openSUSE Tumbleweed for a year now, and have had a very good experience with it, with a few minor hiccups happening along the way. I recently got a new M.2 SSD that I want to replace my 6 year old 2.5in SSD (the one currently running openSUSE Tumbleweed) with.

I have used Rescuezilla before so I gave the Clone option on it a try, and it failed about as soon as it started cloning the BTRFS partition. I decided I would try Clonezilla, as maybe it was more updated and could handle it where Rescuezilla could not. I was wrong. they both give out practically as soon as they start partclone on the BTRFS partition. Before I start doing any console commands, basically all I could find were forum posts from 3-4 years back, and besides that, I'm not always too comfortable just blindly putting commands into the terminal when I don't fully know what they are doing, I wanted to reach out to the community and maybe someone can point me in the right direction or tell me what worked for them?

I would like to clone the old 2.5in SSD to the new M.2 SSD, and have everything exactly as it was, just with more space now. Is this possible with any GUI, or if not, can someone please help point me or talk to me about my options? Thank you! :)

Great beat, and I love the lyrics. Blast it daily.

Today I was looking at some ways to get wikis for games that are very in depth offline for personal use. Wiki.js was one of the more prominent results so I looked into it. I'm no HTML pro, but I do know a few things, enough to make it look decent enough for my own curiosity and usage. I just wanted to share with others who might be interested in something similar!

I absolutely love the layout and how easy it is to move stuff over. Once I made the default theme dark, it was game on. I have spent the last 3 hours moving bits and pieces from the wikis I was interested in over to it. Give it a try!

I'm hosting it through the Apps feature in TrueNAS Scale. Not exposed to the internet. On TrueNAS, I set it up ACL (permissions) with a preset one that I made for quickly giving myself access to anything for my file browser.

THANK YOU to all the devs and anyone who has supported this project. Excellent piece of software!

Here is a screenshot of what I've dragged over and reformatted from the Stardew Valley Wiki into Wiki.js.

I just found out about fish shell a few moments ago. I switched Konsole on KDE to use it instead of bash and am impressed so far. Might install it on the Pihole eventually. Good stuff, just wanted to share. :)
