I don't disagree, I think the main issue I can see is the rate of growth. I know renewable energy is increasing but I guess I just haven't seen the numbers for that to quell the worry a lot of people have. From a pessimistic view it feels very capitalist to allow this amount of usage for the sake of business. And let's be honest, a lot of data centers are running services the world doesn't need

Usage had doubled in ~10 years, and is expected to double or triple in just 5 years. That rate of growth will put usage above 30% within a decade, and that's just datacenters.. add another decade and you're looking at 50% usage or more.

We'd likely have more sources of energy, but as you know not all energy sources are renewable, so what's the long term plan?

Again, train was probably there first, but is it the trains fault or the city planners for cutting off a community like that? I agree, that sounds incredibly dumb. I always joke and say "the people who make these decisions don't actually live here" so they have no idea what they are doing, but it's becoming less of a joke now

I guess you've never driven on highway 401 lol

I imagine the rail system existed before firetrucks were a thing, though, not sure where you're from. You have to hope they'd have a contingency plan for things like trains. Maybe a comms platform that told them not to go that way? (kinda like how Google maps will route you around a slower section of road)

I get it's frustrating, but it's definitely better than a hundred transport trucks

That wouldn't have anything to do with the train and would have everything to do with drivers.

I find it hard, but try some introspection to find what your mental and physical needs are (hobbies, bodily movement, experiencing nature, whatever it may be) and then see how you can meet those needs on your own.

Once you start to get a better grasp on yourself and your own needs without external validation, youll be closer to the zone of "happy on my own/loving yourself".

Then you can start to fit someone else into the picture, be it a romantic partner or more friends.

If you do have any close friends you know you can trust, lean on them. Tell them where you are mentally, and let them know they don't need to be there always, but when you're in the shits they will be better prepared to support you

And always remember, baby steps are still steps forward. (Also, if you have access to therapy/counseling, please reach out to someone professional)
