"OPP rescue 23 people stranded on ice shelf that separated from shore in Georgian Bay"

That's a search and rescue miracle!

I want “permabanned”. I was informed that my account was “ suspended”. Then I was invited by the entity-that-bans to start a conversation about how to restore my account by resetting my password. This led me into a time-consuming loop in which my account was never restored. I’m just a guy, you know. Not trolling, occasionally commenting on aviation, or seeking answers to Windows annoyances. The why and when of suspension was never addressed by the entity. So, I moved on. As you suggest, to lemmy!

I hope Canada’s intelligence community will ID vessels that should NOT be targeted.

If Canadian intelligence can ID vessels as NOT OF INTEREST, that would be great, no?

Too bad, buddy. reddit will not do anything. Maje a new account and carry on.

For a province dependant on agriculture in an age of climate change, it is definitely worth exploring the energy sector. It seems likely that AI’s energy demand will continue to rise for decades. If Sask can fill some of that demand, there will be a benefit to the economy.

On the “cons” side, the $7B investment comes from public money; i.e. taxpayers. And if the predictions of future demand do not pan out, the 1.7 million inhabitants of the province will be on the hook for the payments.
