Nooooooo but I like boring guy things! Lol. I honestly had no idea this would get such a positive reception.

Dude, I said the exact same thing when I watched the video I had to watch. It was comical how intense the scenes and scenarios were watching these poorly made manikins get mauled over and over.
Will definitely watch when I get off work!
We have x2 battery powered Cat EC25N's. Up until last week, I'd never even sat a buttcheek one in anything like it but I'm getting the hang of it quickly. I unloaded a full semi trailer just a bit ago to get some practice in even tho that's the shipping crew's job. They know I'm looking to get some practice in and they're doing a great job of letting me get my feet wet.
I'm a backwards hat kinda fella. I think those of the beanie might still accept me! That or maybe its time to get a beanie and bad attitude of my own.
I'll defend Infographics here. These guys do a great job with their content IMO. Yes, the titles and thumbnails are always kinda cringe but they have been putting out good stuff consistently for years and do so without AI. They always get shit for their titles but the content itself is way better than what you'd expect usually.
We need a full remake of the movie Brainscan. I loved that movie as a kid and always dreamed of the day when games became so real you couldn't quite distinguish virtual from reallity. Brainscan does a okay enough yet extremely 90's take on it and its just a fun, cheesy, and nerdy horror movie. It would be fun to see what an actual talented writing team and production crew could do with that same story adding what we know now.
Is "guillotine" a softer word? We could and should just use that instead. I'm all about catering to the elites' baby soft thin skin.
I love when I see my favorite band in the wild.
About what I'll make this year as a CNC machinist. And at least I'm making tangible and useful objects for jet engines and rockets (space, not war). A lot of those C suite executives do jack shit for humanity and get paid more in a week than I make actually working all year.
I left reddit the day the api shit went down and came here. Same Lemmy as its always been but noticeably more people now. My feed is more curated. It reminds me of my reddit experience in maybe 2011 or so. As with anything on the internet, the experience is only as good or as bad as you allow it to be. If you see a community or instance you dont like, just block them and move on. Do I like Lemmy as much as I did early reddit? Id say no, but not by much. Maybe its my rose colored nostalgia glasses for early Reddit that keeps me wishing for things to be the way they used to be but its totally possible that reddit was never as great as I thought it was. Idk. Im here now and I dig it. Its not the same but I like watching it grow and it keeps me entertained when I need it to. Overall, its better than the invasive nature of what reddit is now. Thats just my own opinion tho.
The first several seasons of American Horror Story are so much fun. Murder House (S1), Asylum (S2), Freak Show (S4 and my personal favorite) and Roanoke (S6) are particularly entertaining. Cathy Bates and Jessica Lang are so great in all their roles. All the actors are a lot of fun to watch even when intentionally cheesy.
