I am going insane.

I think the absolute worst part is that I am the one being treated like I'm stupid for being college educated or for just having common sense.

Its like trying to talk and every time you do 20 toddlers scream and shit thier pants at the same time.

There's a minority in the US that is both loud and smells. Unfortunately, they drown the rest of us out, and make a bad taste in everyone else's mouth that I can't blame them for.

The Anti-intellectualism has been a thing for years though, it's suddenly exploded because it hit critical mass and they finally got one of thier guys elected while the rest of us were looking the other way (or in my case, too young to vote.)

Now? Being stupid is being smart. Being contrarian is being patriotic, money is God. Up is down, the sky is green.

I heard a teacher say Moscow was in Ukraine yesterday. No amount of pointing to it on a fucking map could convince her otherwise.

I am. Going. Insane.

That's why the Indie side is a full ecosystem.

Shitty games die and fertilize the ground so that all the good ones can grow.

If a AAA game dies, it takes another 6 years for investors and executives to gain the balls to maybe risk spending the money to make another game, so it fertilizes nothing, just sits and rots on sand.

I went to the dentist for the first time yesterday.

My teeth were getting overly sensitive, I'd never been good a remembering to brush until this year, so the buildup got bad.

I have early gingivitis and a couple of small cavities, which is better then what I was expecting. And they cleaned my teeth.

The sensitivity is gone and I am EUPHORIC, I never realized how constantly uncomfortable I was because of it, I'd been getting more and more irritable and surprise. It was because constant mouth sensations contributed to a lot of moments where I was overstimulated and lashed out.

Once. Probably?

I'm too broke to say no, as then I'd probably be dead myself. Once out of the dire situation?

No.

Working harder and grinding more should mean more levels and cool gear faster.

In reality, the harder you work the slower the dopamine, and then I dip.

One of the only times where the rest of the cops tossed him. Probably because they spent so long working with this guy, getting him to chill and was almost there. And Dumbass shows up to unload his gun.

All that effort, wasted, so he pissed off the group.

As a kid, I always hated when my mom brushed my hair, it was always extremely painful, she'd yank chunks of hair out of my scalp, make my ears red and irritated, burn me with the dryer/iron

I used to think she just didn't know how to make it not hurt or was just clumsy, my hair was long and I was little...

But I recently let her do it again for a formal function as an adult, with my partner in the room. (Because I told him she was always rough with it)

And it didn't hurt... she put her hand up to protect my scalp, she didn't yank, or tug too hard, or burn me, or make me almost cry.

Which means she always knew. She could've always been gentle... she just chose to hurt me instead.
