I'm from Kentucky. The Ford plants were huge for the state, but I admittedly was suspicious from the start. Also, I'm likely in the minority on this but EVs are such a short term thing. The whole country is worse off for failing to expand rail and other public transportation infrastructure.

Assuming they're proven safe and effective, sure. Don't blindly assume, though. Beyond the obvious politicization, one reason why the approval hasn't gone through is likely due to the gutting of the FDA. Sigh ...
