Hopefully never comes to any war

I don't disagree with you. But if Trump wants to cross the border and shoot Canadians, I may need a vest.

This is this best response here!

Thank you for that. Well shared and practical response.

Having a small super safe room does sound ideal!!!

You're blowing this way out of context, and starting off very rude. I hopefully would never need to wear it.

Also I don't even have a gun or plan to use one. Its to protect my vital organs, at least a bit of extra percentage, if ever an emergency situation called for one.

Its also one person less for police and military enforcement to have to worry about protecting.

To say if there is someone ramped in my street shooting, maybe because of war, or maybe a deranged shooter, whatever else, and to say I can't put the armor on because it's self defense -- go fuck yourself.

It is legal for the most provinces, but most also require a PAL as well.

In my case, I'm not looking to use any gun, just to have the ability do the best practical minimum and protecting my protect my vital organs some.

Like you said, it's not 100%. Ok.

I hopefully never need to wear it. It's more in case if ever an emergency situation. And one less person for police and military enforcement to worry about.

For protection in case some crazy dumbass were to walk around with a gun in the neighborhood, I could feel safer at home. I can feel safer.

Quebec is a power house for our economy and a liberal federal government.

If you call UHaul, you can negotiate discounts.

I've never heard of container companies. Is there a link of some sort?

I'm looking for a moving van that is not U-Haul where I can drive across a few provinces.

Rona offers moving vans and trucks but not for this distance.

Enterprise Trucks as well but not for this distance.

Budget Rental offers this distance if you can find a location with vans. But you have to bring the van back since the van is assigned to a city. Its about $100-$125 per day depending on the team of the year. Every day rented includes 100km included, anything over is $0.14/km.

I'd be looking to drop off the vehicle at the location, unless there is a huge savings to bring it back.

I'm looking for something around the North East area. I enjoy nature, good accommodations, good people. I'm interested in recommendations for all year round, recommendations for summer and recommendations for winter too.

Also, not required, but is there better times to visit, say to visit indigenous, Acadian, or any festivals up that way.

Any good hiking trails, places to see, paddle boat rentals, museums, escape room, local restaurants and cafes, parks, places to swim such as rivers, nice beaches.

I feel like northern New Brunswick doesn't get enough love. Neither do many of the indigenous communities in the province. The Fundy and other south west NB communities get way more attention and money than they deserve.

I want to support our good people of the North!
