Oh my. Pretty obvious that Trumps buddies have shares of Putin's oil companies. When Ukraine started to hit them - they go bitching to Trump about it. At this point we had stupid narrative "Ukraine is hitting Russian refineries and driving prices up on the world market". That narrative is really dumb because it just sharing light on main elephant in the room - who is supplying sanctioned oil from Russia to the world market and why US president is helping those? - well, answer is obvious - guys connected to Trumps administration. And now they are going even further - they are legalizing their existing interest in Putin's oil industry by that stupid so called "deal' and thus - they no longer can stay formally neutral in this war and participate in negotiations as mediators. Next step gonna be - no intel, no Starlink, no PURL and if everything is bad - US NAVY defending Russian shadow fleet here and there. But there is a bright side - we will find out who exactly owns Russian shares and assets from Trump admin. Or maybe Trump just TACO as always and nothing gonna change.

Well my good old simple rule "Trump = Putin" has worked perfectly once more. (from 2016 never failed even once) And those silly lads were saying something about Grams sanction law. When I saw the last part of it - that it only gives Trump an instrument to put sanctions on any entity - I knew, that it wont work.
Ah it is such an adorable bluff, when you know, that for example Marat Khusnullin`s (deputy prime minister of Russian Federation) daughter - Alina Kerimova is living in France near Paris in a big estate. EU authorities could just fee her and all others like her (there are quite a lot of people like her - relatives of war criminals and high-ranking Russian officials, who lives in EU on money from their sanctioned daddies) for all the damage, that Putin will do with his attacks to EU assets. That will definitely bring some fear, but to Russians elites. LOL
This "de-escalation" is only till the end of Russian so-called election. Same pattern as before with Moscow parade. If Putin is scared of attacks during some specific period of time - he is calling Trump. Trump is calling Zelensky and Russia get its period of relative calm during that critical time. Fun thing to do for Ukraine in my opinion is to mirror Putin`s tactic - do a provocation - blame Russia in a breaking the agreement and resume attacks exactly during that critical period - the thing that Putin wants to avoid.
Pfff... sure. Just make Putin's elites families and relatives, who live in EU and Britain pay for all the damage from these "unknown sources" attacks. Those attacks will end immediately. Just recent known case - oligarch Altushkin supplying Russian ballistic missiles with electronics -but his wife and kids are in London.
Here what i think - "Hybrid" action under pretext of something dumb, for example "official war declaration", that includes - some mobilization effort - without any announcements, but through already existing systems like digital conscripts registers, but numbers will be far less than 100 of thousands. Some here, some there - just sending those letters to unfortunate ones all over the country. Probably dragging Belarus into conflict with open military actions against Ukraine (if war is declared officially - allies are obliged to help according to Russo-Belarus agreements), not too active but enough to hold some of Ukraine forces engaged in a fight on the north. And the main thing - far more repressive and tough regime inside Russia itself. Repressions, no internet for weeks and months at all, probably there will be some kind of obligatory labor for some segments of the population. Food stamps, maybe some other "military" measures for products distributions. And of course much more repressions and arrests. Tougher regime inside Russia itself is the main thing in my opinion.
Hope so. The very fact, that this scenario has become a possibility worth of discussing is quite bad on its own.
