Not really. Proton has done wonders for Linux gaming. The only games that really don't run have drm configured to block Linux specifically.
It's not about actually protecting children. It's about data.
Most likely, especially if it's not locked to one device. I know about their premium lite sub, but 8 dollars for "less" ads isn't going to do it for me.
There was a time where they only used banner ads. Or ads before the video and not in the middle. Honestly, if they had a cheap, no frills ad free sub, I'd pay for it.
And on top of this, we have to ring up and bag our own stuff now. There's always a line because someone doesn't know how to use the machine.
