Yep, but if you ask them why babies have cancer they suddenly don't have time to debate you.

Yep, I've had transphobes lose their minds when I correct them saying "Back when you were a girl" with "I've never been a girl, you just thought I was one". I'm non-binary, I've always been non-binary.

Yep, exactly. But some people refuse to learn the difference. Especially given the number of people who justify misgendering me by saying "It's kinda hard to not see you as a woman when you're dressed like one" when 100% of what I'm wearing is from the men's department.

You disagree that Lemmy is not the government? I'm talking about law here, not opinions.

This makes no sense in reply to my comment. Free speech is about the government, changing Lemmy instances won't change the fact that Lemmy is not the government. My opinion, views, etc have nothing to do with this. As far as free speech is concerned a community would be free to remove trans positive comments if they so chose.

I'm wondering if it's supposed to be non-binary and whoever did the stats didn't know the difference. I'm non-binary and the number of people who assume that GNC, non-binary and androgynous all mean the same thing is ridiculously high. I've seen surveys that have gender options of "male, female, gender non-conforming".

Free speech is about the government not being able to restrict your speech. Guess what? Lemmy isn't the government.
