The author is a god damn holocaust denier. Propoganda doesn't always outright state it's goals my friend.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Goodson

He is the embodiment of "jews control the banks and the world" argument.

EDIT: Verbatim in the fucking wikipedia:

"Despite his career, Goodson was also an active commentator with regards to the problems of the central banking system, writing the book A History of Central Banking and the Enslavement of Mankind, published by blackhouse publishing limited. In this book, the author narrates a brief history of finance and central banking in the Western world, from the Roman Republic to the 2008 financial crisis and maintains the existence of an international jewish conspiracy to control nations through banking, led mainly by the rothschild family from the 19th century onward."

You wanna correct your statement on it not being about that now?

As another comment said this is a fallacy. This detracts from my original argument, and assumes I stated any of this in my main point. If you have questions about the argument ask questions about the direct things I said in my argument. Not shit I did not say an inkling about. Your making assumptions on positions I do not have.

Let me bite for the sake of biting.

Now if I take your loaded question as a claim, I would like a source for the hasty generalization "atheists/modernists/disenchanted are pretty much either irrelevant or clinging desperately to their position of vaning power, paralyzed, and often depressed" Part. Show me the stats.

"Religious and spiritual people are the drivers of mainstream politics and new political ideologies" That is sooo rich. Religious people have been at the front lines of halting progress across the spectrum. I guess you are right they are the drivers of mainstream political change, not good political change might I add. Whenever they do change for the good it's because real progressives fought tooth and nail to change it on a state level. Only then do these churches catch up, and even then you have members that don't agree/believe in the change. Some key examples of movements religions have been heinous on: Woman's suffrage, Slavery Abolitionism, Abortion, LGBTQIA+ rights, Gaza, Access contraception/sex education, the list goes fucking on and on. Don't even get me started on the dark money organized religions put in to get vile legislation passed.

I'm not trying to assume anything but the way you throw depression in the mix puts a bad taste in my mouth. Like it has anything to do with the other things you stated, religious people are depressed too. It isn't secularist exclusive. The way religion handles depression is "deal with it god knew you could handle it", "that's not depression it's the devil", or even the more extreme "depression/suicide is a sin". So if depressed religious people aren't coming out and talking about their mental health all to often compared to atheists it doesn't surprise me. I'll give you a chance to correct the record and we can move on, as I do not want to detract from our argument.

Religions allow for people to discriminate just on the premise of "well it's what I believe". They think because it's their belief it doesn't have to be demonstrated or tested. Why is your religion/belief true? "Because my ancient text of choice says it's true" ok well why is your religious text of choice true? "Because my religion/belief says it's true".

"Existential belief/claim in delusion with no evidence or basis in reality; A tool for the rich to exploit and sedate the masses." That's what I hope to change the definition to when people wake up. Obviously since definitions are descriptive and not prescriptive that isn't what it is now. "An organized supernatural belief in a god/gods in regard to the creation of the universe." Is what I would assume more fits how people use the word today. Even then I feel that excludes delusions such as Buddhism or individual 'spiritual' delusions.

Skip to your proselytizing, what delusion are you Pascal's wagering your life on?

Friend... in a now deleted instagram post he was caught with a "international jewish conspiracy" book in the background.

Religious people are one the biggest reasons as to why we are where we are today. Anyone that tries to "respect" these delusions are also culpable. It's the best invention to sedate the masses in their cage since sliced manna.

I'm trying to find a more convenient way to use the emulated portal feature on dolphin/cemu. Is there any way to use it without a second monitor/switching tabs?

For example say an app that connects to the emulator and displays on your phone? Honestly anything that doesn't take focus from the game window would be excellent.

Thank you for the ideas and help!

Krita is open source why the hell would you uninstall it?

I tried memtest86 and my ram passed all of the tests. Is there a test you would recommend outside of that?

I few days ago I posted about my games freezing on my new pc here:

https://lemmy.ml/post/41956931

I thought my issue was an outdated motherboard bios and also having screen locking/sleep mode on. It appears that was wrong because I am still having the issue. I have come prepared this time though! I have several proton logs of games freezing up. Some of the logs are the game freezing and continuing, other logs are the gsne freezing and completely stopping.

I also had a weird error popup that would come up when enabling proton logs for cyberpunk. I put that image with the proton logs. I put in my journalctl with the most recent cyberpunk freeze/crash that happened as well.

I am beginning to think that it is a driver issue with my 5070ti. I found this post on the linux gaming subreddit that has many people expressing the same issue:

https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/1nn2d5e/games_freezing_randomly_until_i_alt_tab_into_the/

My overall concern is if this is a hardware issue rhat I need to get rma'd or just a linux issue.

Crash logs:

Any help is appreciated!! Thank you all for your time!

EDIT: After much testing, my issue seems to be driver related. 5000 series drivers are just really buggy atm. Thank you all for your time and effort!

Working on getting logs, the game is open now. I am just waiting for it to freeze again. Sorry about that should have thought of it before posting. I turned screen locking and sleep mode off so idk if that would be it.

EDIT: Actually I think you may be on to something. This is the longest the game has lasted. I did actually have screen locking and sleep mode on! I had these crashes on my original cachy install where I had it off. I then installed windows to test and I also updated my motherboard bios. The game ran fine in windows (even better because the dx12 bug was not present). So I wanted to give cachy a go again, I then reinstalled it and ran the game again and left my pc. My previous install of cachy I for sure had screen lock and sleep off.

This install I forgot, when I left the pc the game had froze again and then I posted. This time I turned it off and the game is approaching 2 hours! So I think my motherboard was unstable because of expo profiles before the bios update, The bios update fixed the previous crashes, and now the crash before this post was because of screen lock/sleep. I am gonna let it run another half hour with different settings just to make sure.

Did you use the -nolauncher launch option?

I am on a fresh cachyos install. my specs are 5070ti, 9800x3d, 32gb 6000mhz ddr5 ram. When playing Cyberpunk 2077 after around 10-15 mins of gameplay the game will freeze. If I quickly press the windows key and click back into the game it will resume. However this is pointless, because the game will always inevitably freeze. This does not freeze my entire system, only the game. I can alt tab and kill the process no problem.

It also only seems to be this game, I ran spider-man miles morales for 2 hours no problem. I ran cyberpunk on windows just to see if it also had the issue. Windows was able to run the game for a few hours no problem. I wasn't able to find similar reports on protondb. Idk if this is just because of a recent patch or something is up with my system. Any help is appreciated! Thank you for your time!

EDIT: The issue seems to be solved! Thank you all for your help!! I was having this issue before switching to windows when I had screen lock/sleep mode off. I think the issue originally was an unstable ram profile that was fixed with a motherboard bios update. When I reinstalled cachyos I had sleep mode/lock screen active which led to the most recent crash causing me to post here.
