Can't wait for every index to have spacex and other ai companies so the retirement funds I can't change the investments for without taking a massive tax hit can have their value diverted into the pockets of the richest men in the world.

No shit it's not about China. The China argument has whatever threat level is convenient at the moment, which is why we couldn't possibly give any chips to China, until actually Nvidia kind of wants to send chips to china because they want that money too. If it was a real threat, the messaging would have any sort of fucking consistency.
Feels like the last chance. If they don't push before gta6 comes out rockstar will have a MASSIVE cash reservoir to sit on and no worries about their biggest project being delayed, etc
A friend of mine recently sold a car they MUST have been within a year or two of paying off "to reduce my payment" by buying a cheaper new car. They didn't want to be told why that didn't make any goddamn sense. "I wanted my payment to go down and it did, so I'm happy." They don't even USE their car since they work from home and doordash everything you can imagine (they make a ton of cash and live paycheck to paycheck anyway)
And even lower level caps under 5.5e, and even lower lower caps with the subscribers only content on dndbeyond
Looking this up, looks like there is a clip through a wall you can do to escape the soft lock, but this was back around release, so idk if it would have been found yet
I liked TP well enough, but it'll always be polluted by a game ending bug I encountered. After teleporting something large into a cave to enable you to enter a dungeon, but before activating it, if you save in that cave, you'll be trapped in that cave with an NPC preventing you from leaving, forever. This is towards the end of the game iirc. I eventually started over, but, that really killed the vibe
I don't strictly disagree, but it's harder for Americans to properly protest when they may be killed or jailed for a peaceful protest vs, say, France, where farmers literally coated government buildings with shit and their non-militarized police just went "well of course, that's their right!" Meanwhile, when German press went to the US to cover the George Floyd protests, police shot at them, even though they were well identified, cooperative members of the press.
Off topic, but you seem likely to have opinions: If I was looking for a device to read in/before bed (ideally not a backlit screen) that would be used for more than just text (comics, tabletop rpg pdf content that would contain tables and illustrations, etc), are there any obvious choices, or things to look for? I'm comfortable jailbreaking, or even performing minor hard mods, but I haven't really shopped for an ereader before so I frankly have no idea what to look for
Wat. SURELY the copyright for Sherlock Holmes expired ages ago. Wasn't that part of the reason we got a bunch of movies and shows about Holmes a handful of years back?
Except, let's not forget, the original source code is lost and this would be, at best, based on an already flawed and inferior pc port
Well, you're assuming that a company needs to be profitable for investors to get their return. Don't be ridiculous. You just IPO and cash out with no plan on how to become profitable and then the company collapses. We've seen this play a million times before. Also AI companies are big enough that NASDAQ just changed their rules for adding new companies to indexes so that AI companies can get forced into your retirement fund 15 days after joining the market, and then the private investors can cash out on your retirement fund buying in and collapse the stock as soon as you're involuntarily invested. This is why spacex (which owns xai and twitter), openai, and anthropic are all coincidentally having their IPOs this year
