The title makes it sound like they're ekranoplans/ground effect vehicles, or something.

Does this coincide with their GDP overtaking that of the EU, as well?

Edit: I looked it up. The IMF says that in 2026, the EU has a GDP of $22.52 trillion and China has a GDP of $20.65 trillion. The US has a GDP of $31.82 trillion, for comparison.

Having 1-2% of the votes in the European parliament is not worth giving up complete control over fisheries and monetary policy, in my opinion. They’d probably meddle with how Norway manages its natural resources, too.

No chance the EU agrees to that.

They’ve outsourced the entire production of that car to a Chinese company. It’s built on a Chinese platform and uses subsidised Chinese supply chains. There is no way that they should be exempt.

So you think that the emissions of manufacturing and shipping are the same for a 200 kg motorcycle as they are for a 2000 kg car? Please explain how you’ve come to this conclusion.

Motorcycles are just as bad for the environment as cars.

Doesn’t seem possible. Maybe you’re biased?

Of een fiets een fatbike is, wordt in dit APV-artikel bepaald op basis van de bandendikte: Als die meer dan zeven centimeter is, dan valt de fiets onder de bepaling.

This is from the article that the Guardian links to as a source. https://www.amsterdam.nl/bestuur-organisatie/college/wethouder/melanie-horst/persberichten-nieuws-melanie-horst/amsterdam-fatbikes-weren-drukke-gebieden/

Am I understanding this correctly, that they want to ban bicycles based on the width of their tires?
