I've attempted to learn it before but struggled. That was a long time ago. Is now the time to try again with these latest quality of life features mentioned?
If so, who has some good learning resources?

Maybe try a few distros on a live usb to see which work well with the hardware.

I can't stand how many companies and organizations only have a presence on Facebook. When I reach out to them to ask if there is another way to stay connected I usually get a big NOPE.
Nice. I also recently added an ebook with some games to play with a standard deck of cards. So I can bring my kobo and a deck of cards since I have some games queued up to learn.

Ive been converting some pdfs to epub for the kobo and that has worked great. Its not perfect but gives a better experience than pdf. Ive also put some solo card game rules on there so a deck of cards and the kobo gives another fun on the go activity.
