@6nk06@sh.itjust.works J'ai regardé, et effectivement, ils ont l'air d'avoir une gamme intéressante pour l'usage qui est envisagé. Merci de tes conseils!

@remon@ani.social Didn't know. In that case I might go with something from them, unless someone got a better recommendation.

As for getting around it, might have been easy for you, but I'm not so sure whether it would have been for my sister and me.

@Limerance@piefed.social @Naich@lemmings.world Even with USB3, might be a bit short in speed. Don't need to go to NVMe speed, but I think modern SATA HDD would be nice. Also, it will be put on a local network.

@artyom@piefed.social It's to stock RAW video footage (and photos) + edited video, don't need to have SSD speed to it. (SATA speed will be plenty enough.) That said, thanks for the info, I didn't know CWWK Pocket NAS existed.

Hello everyone! I need your help choosing a NAS. (I don't need a big one, a 2 bay model should suffice.) What are your recommendations?

(Not so long ago, I would have taken one from Synology, but it seems they now force us to use their own, too expensive, HDD.)

@riskable@programming.dev First, thanks for your help.

The cooling system is a Noctua with two fans. (Don't remember the exact name right now.) For the storage, he only have one SSD & one HDD, but he also have a DVD drive. As for the CPU, his PC starting to be a bit old, he is thinking of also changing it, (which mean changing the motherboard too) but depending on the cost, he might do that latter.

Hello, technologically minded peoples, I have a question for you.

I would like to know what is the real consumption of a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and what's the real minimum power supply required to feed one the needed juice.

I ask to know if my father also needs to change is current power supply or not. (For the graphic card itself, he doesn't have a choice but to replace it, since his curent one died.)

I'm surprised to learn Ubuntu Touch is german, especialy since the main version of Ubuntu and their parent company (Canonical) is South-African.
