If we agree social media can be harmful, then why is it an age question and not changing it at its source for everyone like removing infinite scroll. All this does is normalise ID checks for social media so that when the kids are old enough to be on it, they don't see an issue with assigning their ID to their online activity. At the same time we have people getting arrested for protesting which is meant to be a human right.

Its likely leading to ID verification of all users.

You can have 3rd party password managers, like bitwarden, that works across apps too.

When you show your physical ID to buy alcohol it's a one and done offline interaction. Digital ID is an audit log. It's not impossible to envision how this data might be used against you by 3rd parties, advertisers, insurance companies and governments.

Not sure how long this has been a thing but I was surprised to see that you cannot view the content without either agreeing to all or paying to reject.
