They compromised and it's central.

I haven't looked at the FCC map but I bet Starlink takes Last Mile credit for everywhere.

So every tax payer pays Starlink plus tax payers that are their customers pay Starlink a second time with these high prices.

Which "left"?? You mean politicians? The wealthy? The hate for him crosses party lines with few exceptions.

Regular people though? That's a different story. Not sure it is mostly people leaning left though. It wouldn't be the first time GOP supporters licked the boots as they press against their necks, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Isn't the party motto like "Pls tread on me sirs!" or something?

They do that to pretty much everyone so that they can give a plea deal years later saying "just pleas no contest and you can go home today!" and most people take it. The vicious cycle starts there and prosecutors do not care if there is no evidence where they'd drop the charges anyway not do they usually care if their is evidence of innocence.

Where I live not only do we get put on hold but sometimes they don't answer (not enough dispatchers) and response time (except for shop lifters which is quick response) is about 4.5 hours for serious stuff and 72 hours, if they do show up according to my own experience and those I know in the community.

Their budget is right over $4 Billion/year. The area I live in gives a boost of around $60 mil/year on top for expanded help so we don't have to have our own city PD.

Also I wanted to add it's the Sheriff, so we do contribute to the 4 bill/year via county tax like everyone else and are in their jurisdiction already.

Fantastic return on investment.

Right, if you download the offline installers, then they can't stop you from doing whatever you're going to do with it but you don't own them. Legally, you can't sell them, transfer them to someone else, etc.

There are other sections that make the lack of ownership by you clear and that you still have to abide by the publisher's/developer's licensing agreements but Section 10 states the situation outright:

Section 10 of the GOG user agreement says:

GOG content is owned by its developers/publishers and licensed by us.

It should because their use agreement makes it clear that you don't own the games but are licensing them. That's pretty much why they had to clarify what they said I'd imagine. IMO, proving the point of the law, really.

It doesn't change what Disney tried to do to get out of it.

An elephant cock with the endurance of a cheetah maybe? Or maybe an elephant cock that's easy to spot.

You'd better hope that you can NAT ipv6 because if you aren't behind a CGNAT and then your LAN is completely exposed without a NAT you're very likely going to have devices exploited.

NATs on people's boundary has been doing pretty much all of the heavy lifting for everyone's security at home.
