What an encouraging story. I wish I could read about unionization going well more often. Thank you for sharing.

While not specifically Wisconsin, this was on the Larry Meiller Show. It seems like an activity where Wisconsin would excel, much like our craft beer and cheese scenes.

For users under 18, the platform would have to set privacy restrictions to the most private level available. And the bill would ban certain “addictive” features from being used in a minor’s social media feed. That includes “infinite scrolling; a profile-based feed; push notifications; autoplay video,” the bill says.

Can we get features designed to be addictive banned, generally? Regular users need to be gained by having a good quality product, not by exploiting brain chemistry.

Hi all, I’m wondering if anyone knows of an events calendar for the area that you can add as a google calendar, ical, or something similar. I’ve seen a number of places with calendars, but you have to go to their website to see what is happening and none have an .ical format except the libraries.

If I had to design one myself, it would have all the community festivals, concerts and venues, farmers markets, and pretty much everything else organized into categories that you could subscribe to as a whole or individually.

Anyway, I’m wondering if anybody knows of such a thing exists or is interested in taking that idea and running with it. Thanks and have a lovely Labor Day.

Holy crap, Woodman's roof caved in. 😲

Great list of upcoming events in Madison. The list gets updated continually , but is a pretty short time frame to plan ahead.

Hi there! I'm in Madison and am pretty active on the subreddit. I'm making my way over here slowly but surely. I am in grad school for urban planning. I enjoy talking and debating politics and philosophy, and am active on the Social Democracy subreddit.
