ML in my experience has very little to do with engaging with leftists and more to do with bashing the "decadent West." Anytime I see memes.ml pop up in my feed, it's a 50/50 shot between me finding something funny or something that makes me debate blocking the instance as much as I can at an account level.

Meme communities will be like that, right?

Why not block this community and engage with other communities in the instance?

Inspired by a post I saw on reddit Have read about Whisper and have seen some models on it.
Anybody have experience in using it on windows or android?

In Android, I know that Sayboard and FUTO(source available, but has restrictions on repackaging or something like that) allow import of models trained for languages

But have not found any files that work for Malayalam. Does anyone know any that can be used for Malayalam?

Thank you.

How is it generally structured?

Thank you.
Which all apps do you use?

Or any skill that you deeply value for how it helps you, but maybe easily overlooked by an outsider?

I think exercising atleast 2-3 times a week was good for me. Not that I look much different, but I do feel a bit stronger and that is nice. Neck isometrics and bridges too. They really helped with balancing looking at mobile or PC screens.

Learning some keyboard shortcuts was nice. The major one would be Win key + Arrow keys to manage multiple open windows/apps.
Then, finding that I can add commonly used options to the QuickAccess bar in Excel, Word etc. Libreoffice would probably have similar options too.

Which are the major widely accepted/supported, progressive movements/orgs in USAmerica?
Maybe flags on that?

Have heard that decent public healthcare has been a concern in USAmerica. Are there any good orgs/movement or flags on that?

How would you rephrase it?

[–] Achyu@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 1 month ago (2 children)

but I wouldn't be at all surprised if there were or could be cloning operations in places like Russia, China, NK and Saudi Arabia, for example.

Would it not be more likely for it to happen in USAmerica or EU?
Make USAmerica great folk may not have an issue of having cloned soldiers. They seem to be having Nazi saluters too

Regarding EU, less likely to be direct, but could be a partner to USAmerican programmes like how they actively go along for USAmerican invasions

Is the Board of Directors affected?

I had seen the donghua 'The leader' recently. Also, saw Andor.

Any communities or websites that list them?

The movement where you move the neck and head to the side together, without the head tilting to one side.

I can't move my neck like that. Been thinking about learning how to and searched up for tutorials.
Saw this video that seemed good for people who are absolute beginners, because many others had people aleady moving their necks. Have tried it for 2 days, but neck isolation not yet possible.

Thought about asking here to know how easy/difficult it is and how other learnt it.
If you know any better tutorials or tips on how to learn it, please do share them.

Also, if you learnt it easily/automatically, do you think that it's not possible for everyone?

Thanks in advance

Had seen a question like this in another sub, thought about asking it in lemmy too.

I've tried Whisper and Sayboard. Both are very cool for speech to text.

One issue is that I can't share pre-existing audio files into them to get the text.
Are there any foss apps that have that feature?

I've noticed Notely's feature of recording audio and transcription, which is very nice. The notes are not saved in the accessible storage, but the app's private storage. So, I currently have to export the audio and text. It also doesn't support importing audio recorded using a regular recording app.

So, is there any FOSS app that has the feature of being able to create trasncripts for pre-existing audio files? Or is too specific and would it be better to look into Termux?

I learnt about markdown from reddit and got to know more suff like ![img]() after joining Lemmy. Found Markor from a thread here or there.
Recently learnt about some features:

And a cool thing is that it supports rendering .html files(considering how Firefox doesn't show up in the list of apps capable of opening them). Was trying out Javascript bookmarklets and created an html file(with the js code in it) to make edits and try out stuff.

Making this post so that others can know of these features. I had Markor installed for more than a year, before I recently read their news.md and noticed these features.

Do you know of any other features or apps that'd be useful for more people to know of?

I've seen The leader, Sword, come and To be Hero.

Have watched older anime like HxH, Parasyte, Ranma ½ etc.
Recently noticed Donghuas and was curious about them.
