I've been getting into functional programming with Elixir recently, it's fun! I've also been thinking about giving Erlang a try.

What is Erlang?
It's a neat functional programming language released in 1998 by Ericsson, designed for being massively scalable, which is quite needed in telecom platforms, this is why Erlang is also called the Open Telecom Platform (OTP).
It uses the BEAM runtime, which is also used by elixir (you can actually run Erlang code from Elixir, and vice versa)
Chilling in the backyard while it's not too cold. He is going to hate it once it starts snowing.

Such a pretty baby!
Yay kitty!
Babysitting for 8 hrs, now the parents need to buy VR headset. The kids are obsessed. As are the parents after "picking the kids up" for 3 hrs...
The kids went home with benchies and heaps of snacks and spare pizza.
The eldest child, 8, was insistent I showed him how to program machines after showing a few I made. He is particularly interested in robots now. He's coming back to make use of the printer and we're going to assemble a 6DOF robot arm together. Excellent and exciting!
You both look amazing and happy. I particularly like the ladies buttoned sleeves and green, and the gentleman’s tie. The colours go well together.
That is awesome! I love when kids get excited about science or tech.
I like your style. My day was spent deep in my special interests, today it was building a window in my workshop. Set the podcast to play and let the wood chips fly.
What a good looking group of people!
Yesterday we discovered we have mice in the house which is one of the things that makes me the most uncomfortable and panicked so that's amazing. We've had good luck in getting rid of them with a humane pest removal (exclusion) service in the past, I guess we will call them again. They don't kill or trap them, they just make it so they can leave but not come back.
Oh, it also got down to 0.1 C yesterday and I'm dreading going out to look at the plants.
Oh no! I wonder if the 0.1 C has anything to do with driving them inside.
Oh yeah for sure. The house is supposed to be sealed up well but I guess it's not right now 🥲
My crown lengthening is done but now I'm on amoxicillin and my brain is fried. I get the worst brain fog on it.
We tried to go to a thrifty store but it was just clothes and no housewares.
The kitten is maturing ever so slightly every day which is nice. I like not having claw marks.
I feel you. I went thrift store shopping looking for a cast iron griddle. Three stores, not one piece of cast iron among them!
