This is explicitly stating that white children are at the bottom of the hiring list I'm the USA. The only identifier he gave of his children is that they're white, and that is enough to put them at the bottom of the hiring list here.

The article is FULL of little bits like that to make them sound like reasonable people just trying to live. Thankfully the article also provides contrary evidence: 9.2% unemployment rate.
Rich afrikaners who are upset apartheid is gone and they now have to be treated like normal people bitching about how they now have to actually earn jobs instead of being handed one for being white, and they still have the majority of jobs.

If they misspoke, fine. But I don't know with certainty that they meant what you said. I think they might've meant what they said.

I am not defending it but their population metrics are crazy. They have 80% black africans from different tribes. While white people account for only 7.3% of the population. It seems more like a failure of their government than the fault of any particular race here.

There aren't white farm workers in South Africa. Only black Africans are doing farm labor. So who is the 'white farmer'? What does it mean? It's the farm owner who gets all the product of the African farm labor and gives next to none of it to the farm laborers. Don't try and condemn something you don't understand.
