Smith told a news conference that her government wants to make it easier for Albertans to express their political views.

The referendum thing is an unmistakable nod towards the separatists. It basically halves the number of ultraconservative fanatics she needs to round up in order to make her "national unity crisis" momentarily appear like it wasn't completely made up.

So you're saying we could get 178k people and hold a referendum on whether the Albertans agree to have Family Day become a monthly paid statutory holiday - on the third Friday of every month?
